That playing it safe is BS. Nintendo has some of the best selling franchises in faming so you are going to see yhe big name titles come out for their new system and you will get some new ips. X ... the xenblade inspired game is new ... Wonderful 101 is new.
What are you seeing as "new" on the other systems? Battlefield 4? Final Fantasy 15? Kingdom Hearts 3? Halo 5? No no no ... you must mean Madden, Forza, and NBA Live.

I normally buy all consoles ... this time I will probably stick with PS4 (for multiplatforms) and Wii U (for my Nintendo adapter)
Titan Fall looks incredible but not enough to get me to sell my soul to what Microsoft is trying to put us thru.
The game looks awesome and seems different. People keep saying Nintendo is playing is safe while sequels to other games on other consoles look exactly the same.
I agree with what many have said ... Nintendo I believe has been given a second chance now and Sony SHOULD easily take the lead with gamers as long as they don't follow in Microsoft's footsteps. I think for me ... without seeing a single game I know I will get a PS4 and a Wii U. Only some terrible announcements from Sony can ruin that. Wii U I was always planning on getting eventually once the big Nintendo games come out later this year hopefully. Sony ... the ball is in your cour...

Resident Evil 4 was not a horror game ... it's an action shooter game. An amazing game ... but not a horror game sorry.
When I played Resident Evil 3 ... I was scared to hell and back whenever I though Nemesis was coming or I was running low on ammo in the original.
Resident Evil 4 is a shooter, you have TONS of bullets. You kill everything in sight ... no need for saving ammo, no need to run away from a fight.
Well ... one can only hope this controller really makes an impact in a good way. Can't wait to see E3 and see what Nintendo and hopefully third parties have in store with this new controller. Love that they changed the sliders to analogs.

More popular boards on Gamefaqs, IGN, etc etc = for GAMERS ... they have choosen CoD over Killzone.
So basically Casuals, Media and gamers have all choose MW3 > KZ3
Maybe all of these are wrong but you have everything going against you when it comes to which is the better game other than ...
Look at it this way ... Killzone 3 kinda flopped already but it is a good game so IF by giving this limited free version away ... it gets the community online to grow and gains the interest of a lot of new players ... then there will be a market for Killzone 4. It's pretty simple ... what do they have to lose? Nothing. They might just gain a huge franchise if this works.
Awwww ... I love these things ... here we go again with nerfing anything that is good. Hopefully they don't make them useless like they did to the Akimbo 1887.
While it's not over for him literally ... what we can do as gamers is play the game, judge it for ourselves ... if we individually find out that IGN, Edge, etc are all correct and he is wrong in our opinion ... just ignore his reviews going forward because clearly he has a complete different taste in games which makes his opinion on games irreverent.
@Mykky ... I think that is the biggest problem with his review ... what he doesn't like about the game is EXACTLY what other reviewers praised. So it is not like he is saying things that other reviewers ommited but rather that other reviewers LOVED the controls and LOVED the new more direct structure. Nothing he said is "new". Just that he didn't like what others liked.

If a game is great and you love it but it doesn't sell and/or got bad reviews ... you don't get a sequel to the game you love and instead that company decides to make another generic FPS that sells at lot more even though it sucks. Do you see why sales and possibly reviews matter?
Example ... I loved Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2 ... where is part 3???? Oh wait ... it didn't sell well so Capcom abandoned the series or could careless about the series.

Well it is still 93 0r 94 on gamerankings and metacritic so clearly most reviewers completely disagree with this gamespot review.
It has 21 reviews on gamerankings with an average of 93 ... I think you should try it out for yourself or look at the other reviews because they say things that completely contradict the gamespots review. Especially on the controls aspect.

Very true ... maybe this was part of EA's deal with Microsoft for pushing DRM stuff. I think this is a big mistake for both EA (making a potential CoD killer exclusive)and Microsoft (DRM, Always online will make them lose to PS4 for sure).
