Your best examples is a racing game that under delivered despite being delayed a year and a game from last gen as reasons why the PS4 is amazing ... think about that.
I respect the USA IGN for waiting to try the online mode first but if the netcode is the same as 3DS ... it's more than good enough compared to other fighting games.
The 3DS gives you better connections than games like Marvel vs Capcom 3 for example so I can only imagine that the Wii U with Ethernet ports (have to buy separately) and with better wifi signals SHOULD be as good or better than the 3DS version.
The Mario Kart DLC stages are amazing ... especially Mute City.

Very true. But that is why u should always read or hear the actual reviews and not just the number.
When they give a game a low score ... do they back that up with a compelling argument full of details and if they do accomplish that ... is it things that bother u or is it more of a subjective complaint that you know won't impact your fun with the game.
25 bucks for a game I already own is just about right imo.
The Wii U exclusives are amazing but it's on a system that doesn't get third party support. Fantastic for a multi console owner ... not so amazing if it's the only system you own.
The PS4 and X-Box One exclusives have been just decent or remastered old games. Their multiplatform games have been good to great but they aren't true next gen games ... they are games that play and still look fine on last gen systems.

The Wonderful 101 is an amazing game ... the chances for a sequel are slim to none due to the poor sales.
We have waited for years for a new Metroid or new F-Zero and still no word that there are sequels coming. Why not u ask? Because neither sell that well.
Sales matters. It impacts which games get sequels sooner rather than later or worst ... never (Shenmue 3 ... where r u?)

I clicked agree cuz u r 90% correct. The only thing u r wrong about is that their development teams are fine as is. The 1st/2nd party content is great. But no ONE publisher can fill up every month of a calender with AAA games by themselves.
What all Nintendo home Consoles lack is the high level of third party multiplatform support the others get.
Give Sony and Microsoft the same crappy level of third party support that Nintendo gets ... both their syste...

Smash 4 is definitely deeper than Brawl but less deep than Melee.
Fans need to understand that the deeper a fighting game gets ... the more it can alienate non hardcore fighting fans from buying it. Fighting games are a niche genre because they are too difficult to understand n even harder to master for the average core gamer.

I wish PS+ wasn't necessary for any online multiplayer.
Gamers were so happy to hear Sony say no DMR, no always online that it allowed Sony to sneak in that forced PS+ for online multiplayer.
On PC, there is no online subscription to play games online. So why are Microsoft and Sony gamers so accepting of paying for something that should be free?
