Zombi U is sitting around a 77% for reviews and 76 for users.
It's judged right. Great idea but rushed with poor production value and lack of variety.
A sequel could have been amazing.
I meant more like compared to the VGAs that didn't even have a category for best platformer.
How did they not include one of gamings biggest genres as a category?
R&D1 - 2D Metroid, Push-Mo, Crash-Mo.
This is about the best SINGLE publisher.
The reason Wii U is struggling is because it lacks all the COMBINED publishers that support the Playstation and X-Box.
Take away the third party support from Sony and Microsoft's systems ... guarantee they bomb far worst then Wii U.
So honestly, learn how to argue your points better and stick to the actual topic before you start calling other's retorts as BS.
From your own post ...
Dragon Age = 1 great game
Bayonetta, MK8, Smash = 3 great games
Then you wonder why Nintendo won for best overall publisher??? lol
100% correct. Nintendo is the only objective correct answer.
After that ... it's truly debatable and highly opinionated.
Great set of categories and winners.
It hasn't ... 5 million for the original version on PS3. The remastered edition has sold almost 3 million thanks to be given away for free this holiday with PS4 bundles.
I guess if you combine the remastered edition ... it will eventually get to 10 million but it wouldn't otherwise.
User base doesn't matter. The Playstation fanbase in general buys more GTA and CAll of Duty than Naughty Dog's games. It's third party games that sell Plays...
Uncharted has never come close to selling 10 million.
While critically acclaimed ... ND's games at best sell 5-6 million.
Halo routinely gets 8-13 million so I seriously doubt Uncharted 4 will outsell Halo if both come out this year.
If doesnt say Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty, Pokemon, or Mario ... the chances aren't high that your game outsells Halo.
Did you unlock the AX Cup?
If not ... then it is clear why you didn't think it was hard.
Beating Master Difficultly to unlock this cup was one of the most difficult and satisfying things I have ever accomplished in gaming.
Save or no save ... if you died in the great palace ... you had to get all the way back over there which meant dealing with all unskippable areas before the Great Palace. Zelda II was really difficult for a lot of people. Without a save system ... it probably would have been close to impossible for the average gamer.
Loved both their Donkey Kong games, especially Tropical Freeze but please ... no more 2D platformers. Wii U has a ton of those already (excellent ones at that).
Metroid or new IP please.
As a game publisher ... Nintendo is still at or near the top every year worldwide so this isn't surprising. They have franchises that sell a ton.
It's just that their home console doesn't sell well due to lack of third party content overall.
Zelda II and other NES games were definitely harder than most of these games.
Either way ... I am sure the absolute hardest games of all time are probably games no one likes and/or were legitimately terrible.
Thus all these "hardest games of all time" list usually are really "Hardest Good game I actually managed to beat" list.
X-Box One had the better exclusives in 2013 and 2014 and still lost.
2015 ... Sony appears to have the much better exclusives overall so they should win easily worldwide.
HOW big the gap becomes is the question and can Microsoft at least stay close or win in America with their semi official price drop.
Call of Duty Ghost on PS4 install ... 50 gigs
Call of Duty Ghost on Wii U install .... 0 gigs
Literally the same game, same content ... just a tad not as sharp.
It's just lazy developers who are taking advantage of the fact PS4 and XB1 come with large harddrive space so they don't waste time and money on compressing data efficiently.
They do ... but content wise it just cannot compete with xbox or playstation overall due to lack of third party support.
Take away the third party support for ps4 and XB1 ... would u expect them to sell?
COD AW is a nice idea but all the boost jumping and vertical level design. Really doesn't go well with the extremely limited field of view that FPS games have.
There are just too many blind spots and too many ways around the map for you to effectively rush or camp.
Basically the game is insane and has little flow.
The spawn system is also horrendous which makes matters even worst.
So yea nice ideas but it doesn...
Great post. Bubble for you
I like how people act like PS4 didn't go down in price during the Holidays. I got mine for 329 at Walmart. My cousin got one for 330 with a free game, 20 dollar psn card and the system box came with yet another 10 dollar card At Target.
PS4 was 350 this past week at newegg. Yea ... just this past week.
