Personally i think it boils down to what people are used to, if youve had a ps3 for most of this gen then you will be more comfortable with the ps4 layout and same goes for the 360 to xbox one. Both look okay and have a couple of new tweaks to play with. AA battery layout in the xbox one is a bit rubbish but that wont be enough to sway people who are already planning on getting the one.
So each to their own, i just hope everyone enjoys next gen as much as i plan to!

And in order to have all these multimedia functions MS is using 3 operating systems which eats up 3gb of ram. These extra features have come at the expense of gaming (on a games console) Plus that video above was probably shown on the original xbox one before it was down clocked by 200mhz, did you see the lag in the snapped video??
