If game studios are feeling the pinch its only because of the latest trend of pricing gamers out of the market then ass raping the rest with overpriced DLC.
I cant say that i know a single gamer who has quit consoles because they have an ipad, but i do know a couple of ipad junkies who have stop "ipadding" because they got new laptops. Its just the circle of life for technology

What a silly point of view, how can someone want shorter games when prices are on the up? I want bigger bang for my buck, i want devs to earn my money
What i want to hear is that they promise to iron out the problems they had with far cry 2 in order to give us a better overall gaming experience. I want to hear that they will focus on deeper gameplay and an immersive story. Not that one will look better than the rest but they will try to make all look good. Just talk for talks sake

I think if Splinter Cell took a step back and recreated what made it such an awesome franchise in the first place, it wouldnt matter what console it comes out on. I think that great games should be available to everyone to enjoy regardless of what logo is on thier console, thats what gaming is about. For the record, im a 360/pc gamer

PC gaming is much more expensive than consoles. My console cost me £220 new, find me a PC that was capable of playing games at the xbox's release on high settings that is still capable of out performing a console today for £220. Its impossible, any rig that old would need regular updating to play games on decent settings. That costs money.

Pricing and standardisation. Allot of people are against the idea of spending hundreds/thousands of $$$'s on a top end gaming rig when its going to be out of date in a few months. Consoles have the edge in that department, get one at release and its good for 5/6 years. Consoles are cheaper, more accessible and popular for gaming in the mainstream

Forgive me but, id rather a 12 hour great single player than a 6 hour one
