no it isn't nitpicky in the slightest. Many many people (myself included) rate the HL games as some of the best ever made and we want the episodic story finished before HL3 comes out. People bought into the episodic adventures and payed a premium for them (on release) based on the promise of 3 short but timely releases which would amount to a full game. This didnt happen and no word has come from Gabe explaining this.
These arent the best foundations to build a reputat...
Its not a biggie, it only took about 5 mins to download and install on a 13mb line so you lucky fiber optic users out there should be laughing, nice and quick as per usual.
I dont gripe too much at system updates, they never take long and it shows that sony and ms are always actively fixing things. I would LOVE a steam console i honestly would but Gabe isnt exactly the best at communicating with fans or sticking to deadlines or on occasion telling the truth. Im still upset with the lack of HL2:EP3.
I doubt i could buy a steam console without being concerned about him shelving games without communicating with steambox owners. Please Gabe dont let us down again

That is so true, the cheat pack DLC for battlefield 3 was utterly disgraceful. Dont get me wrong, i love BF3 and i put over 200 hours into it, but the way they have handled DLC means i will not be buying any more of their games.

You're talking about physical hardware that costs money to produce on a mass scale that uses actual resources and man hours to produce for the individual. That does indeed warrant paying extra for, however what I'm talking about is software that is created once, then merely duplicated on disc for the consumer. So your analogy is pointless in this instance.

You say that its optional but you're wrong. What you fail to realize is that Ubisoft made the complete game then stripped bits out in order to charge extra for them. This is probably the first time i wont be buying an assassins creed game, gutted for assassins creed and gutted for gaming on a whole.

Yeah i thought the upddate before the current one was the best, like you said it was much, much easier to navigate. I seem to spend ages looking for the things that i only use once in a blue moon. That never happened on the previous dash. I hope this years update fixes that.

I never listen to music when i play BF3 (or any game for that matter) because like you said, how will you hear the footsteps?
This is so irritating, i bought premium to get more content (vehicles, maps AND weapons) The advert on the battlelog website clearly said we would be getting new weapons with these packs which is why i spent the money on premium. Dammit EA, don't you realize that leaving a bad taste in your customers mouth will eventually cause them to spit you out.
Im not defending the wii U or anything im just stating an observation. The Xbox 360 and PS3 all had very poor graphics in in the beginning of their lives in comparison to what devs are doing with them today. Perhaps we should reserve judgment until the Wii U is given a proper and fair chance to stretch its legs.
That being said i have no interest in getting one, im still completely unsure on which console to get next gen (xbox or ps4)
