Nothing good comes from these..
I'm sure the third and final party will be great but I bet they've had their budgets slashed to some degree due to these results. What a damn shame.
Oh look another one who just THINKS they know what the issue is without actually reading into what is actually happening. Maybe read and come back so you can actually be up to speed on what the lawsuit is even about.
Sony was partnered with them already for years, THIS is the only game from Firewalk. HERMAN BOUGHT FIREWALK FOR CONCORD.
Like the other guy said, this has nothing to do with any of the designs. This is Nintendo patent trolling. It's like Rockstar suing another game if they have a guy opening the car door and yanking them out to steal the car because that's why you do in GTA so therefore that game is infringing on GTA's "patent". And that's the reason why Pocketpair is fighting this because if they lose this opens the doors to MORE lawsuits of this kind.
@Christopher Jim didn't buy Firewalk though, Herman Hulst did, it was his baby. I think Herman needs to go but I doubt it's come to that, however Herman is definitely walking on .00000001 mm of thin ice right now. If he breathes wrong he's going to get dunked by Sony Japan. In fact, so is Bungie which is why Marathon was delayed. Fairgame$ is probably also sweating hard. If Marathon fails, Sony is going to take complete control of Bungie and if they really can't right the ship...
Have people just forgotten how terrible D3 was at the start? Real Money Auction House? Absolutely abysmal gear drops with stats that make no sense whatsoever?
Bioware we once knew and loved is long dead along with many others. They're just here in name now taken over by talentless morons who have no business making games. Don't buy it, let them tank just like Concord. Consumers have shown that we have power.
I completely expect the PS6 to not have a disc drive but it will be instead a separate add-on.
Wow so they finally realized it was a stupid idea to make fans vote to just keep a part of something instead of releasing everything? But it seems it was worse than I thought, we were in fact voting for something that they too had no idea wtf its purpose was, I've asked before and I'll always ask again, just WTF does the devs at Mojang do all year long? Every time there's a new content update it's just like some stupid animal, a new biome and a new mob and everyone just claps ...
The only thing that "irks" me honestly is that they don't include a stand... It's very...Apple.. I'm not surprised at all about overall price though. It comes with its own 2TB SSD. It's a Pro version, for anyone who wants that extra power. It's not meant for everyone. It'll sell less than the base model, same as the PS4 Pro before it and I'd rather have it this way than how Xbox went about it with an S-variant that held back the Series X. I'm glad we ...
Well I'd hardly call gacha games a "dead market" considering they make extreme ROIs. Sony wishes they had their own Genshin Impact but with the leadership they have in place, Sony attempting a Genshin clone would just be full of DEI monstrosities and then blaming players for not pulling for any of their characters. However, Japan is a mobile market first and foremost. If they can't game on the go, it'll be a hard sell.
There's a reason why Sony moved their headquarters out of Japan. Japan is really just Nintendo's domain + gacha games. They never really had the same feelings for Playstation that the rest of the world had but Sony is quickly burning through that good will.
Man I just really want the PC version...because MODS.
Well if you have a PS5 then sell it.
There was once a time when 99.99% of all phone makers out there scoffed at the idea that anyone would pay $400 for a phone. I'm not saying this pricing is correct or makes sense considering the product is different but if there's demand, people will buy it. The only main issue I have this gen is that there is a serious lack of worthwhile games. Sony has really gone down the wrong path.
@VariantAEC That's not what I'm talking about. And the stuff that's being voted off is not licensed stuff. It takes them a whole year to come out with a new biome and they show off a frog or some other dumb thing.
It truly makes me wonder just wtf they even do considering the pathetic updates that come out compared to what some teenage modder can probably knock out in a week. And then they have the audacity to be "engaging the fanbase" by making them vote to keep certain content and the rest just go away into oblivion. Like, why? Why not just release everything? But it seems Minecraft fans just stupidly love it for some reason.
The amount of GOOD games that could have been funded by these failures...
Man I would kill for a full on remake or reboot of this series..
