Really? I didn't buy it but I got it for free from Humble Bundle and man, it really wasn't that bad at all. I was expecting premium garbage from the way people spoke about it. Sure the combat isn't Deadspace level but it was sure satisfying melee-ing them to death. I think they just tried to be Deadspace without being Deadspace but they really wanted to be Deadspace. Overall though the game wasn't nearly as terrible as people make it out to be.
No, they would have just ruined it by retconning things with their agenda.
Multiplayer? But... other games have multiplayer... Sounds like a lawsuit to me.
Then, don't play them, problem solved. Are game devs supposed to just stop making certain types of games full stop now because you and a handful of others don't want to play them anymore? May as well also stop making racing games because I got tired of them 15 years ago but you don't see me or anyone else complaining about a new Mario Kart or Forza game. Articles like this are pure slop.
Game dev makes souls like:
Games journalist: STOP HAVING FUN!
Execs mean nothing. Execs were also impressed by Redfall and Concord.
I knew holding off playing it for 10 years was the right call.
Finally a game that actually looks like the UE5 tech demo.
Its gonna have to offer a lot more than backwards compatibility or else it'll just be a repeat of the last 2 generations.
Give me my RDR2 Undead Nightmare already.
That's not really a remaster or a remake, it's a patch at most.
Sure, in 15 years maybe. I'm playing it right now and it looks better than most games today.
I'll wait for the OLED, I ain't double dipping.
I don't know, I remember the whole "Resident Evil: Kitchen Demo" that was making people scream but it was just meh to me. The actual RE:7 in VR was a masterpiece though. I had bought PSVR pretty much for that game and it was totally worth it. I hope this game can bring me back that same kind of experience.
This was weird asf man, I don't know wtf they were thinking.
"Internally was received well" means the devs played it and then proceeded to circle-jerking their own work.
And then, Daggerfall.
Not nice...
Remember Oblivion horse armor everyone? Good times good times.
I wonder what it must feel like to basically lose hundreds of millions of dollars in essentially a span of 2 weeks. All that work, time and money wasted.
