I lul everytime I see the word esport. There is nothing sporty about gaming. Playing fighting games does not make us physically active or more physically fit. Mentally, yeah, games help reflexes and to keep certain areas in our minds sharp, but that's about it. To be taken more seriously, a better name than esport needs to be made. Cus eports just sounds lame. 3000 lame.

Sony's actually been really good about price drops and sales. I really can't complain about that. Even if the game you want is back at full price, chances are in another couple of months it'll go back on sale again. I got a used Switch earlier this year after everyone reminded me that Nintendo's still around and their e-store doesn't have any price drops on old used A games, and sales are usually for B or C titles. I've always wondered why preorders don't have discounts. That's an incentive to preorder. Getting skins or other garbage isn't.
Like I said before, I expect this to be the way the industry tries to go. It'll mean more revenue for them. It'll also mean more out of our pockets. When the choice to own or stream is gone, and if they go stream only, I'm done with the hobby. I don't subscribe to any streaming movie/TV show sites and won't because it's cheaper to just buy the occasional movie or TV show in 4K or BR. Same goes with gaming. It just doesn't make sense for me.

Having played the beta, I can say that if you don't know who any of these characters are (like me), the matchmaking system for online is annoying. There's no spectate feature, it's like BBCTB, P4AU or DBFZ for lobbies, and when you get into the gameplay, there's really nothing all that amazing/new. I wanted to love this, I really did, but after playing the beta, I'm gonna have to pass. It's good looking, but it's all been done before and better. Since I don't have any attachment to the brand, I guess I'll just be waiting for the Persona 5 fighting game to come out.

Never heard of this one until yesterday. Saw the trailer, and a gameplay video then pre-ordered on the spot. This is my kinda game.

I'm not worried at all. I'm actually really looking forward to the title after seeing the footage from E3! FF was getting stale, and this just reinvigorated my interest in the series.
