It has pros and cons. Input lag will be an issue with twitch shooters and fighters, but for a typical 3d game, Stadia should be okay. It's also a bonus to be able to livestream the content and have it so well integrated with YouTube. Also with the raw CPU power Google has, graphics and MMO games could take a huge leap forward. OTOH, spotty and metered Internet connections will be problematic with it. You also won't have full quality video, even at 4K, because of video compression...
Reviewers can't all be yes men all the time. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion even if it differs from your own. Just because someone else doesn't like a game you do doesn't mean you can't, and shouldn't enjoy it. Play it if you like it and who cares what the rest of the world thinks. Serzly. What diff does it make if Joe Reviewer who you've never met thinks the game is bland? Who cares if I won't buy it at full price? If you like it, you like it.
I tried it. Didn't like the whole setup garbage at the beginning of each match. I just wanted to blow crap up. Deleted and moved on to other things. It wasn't a bad game once it got started but it just took too long for the fighting to begin for me.

Hearing about the grind in MKXI is the only reason I didn't buy it. It was lame in SFV and it's lame in MKXI. It bored the s**t out of me in SFV and made me stop playing it and never go back, so I'm not about to do the same with MKXI. Unless the price goes down to 15 bucks for this title, I'm gonna pass. There's other stuff to play that'll be less frustrating than this. Games are supposed to be FUN. When did we all forget about that?

I found RDR2 pretty boring. It's polished and beautiful, but after about 5 hours of game play, I put it down and just can't bring myself to play it again. I've got more fun games to play. So while polish might matter, if the game's not exactly your cup of tea, even the most polished turd won't shine brightly.

Hell yeah, this looks f'n sweet! Sign me up, baby! Nothing beats mindless button mashing when you're bored! Sometimes you just want to play something simple and fun and not have to stress about juggling combos or ridiculously over-pretentious storylines. That's why beat em up games like DMC and SOR have been staples for years.
Seeing a lot of middle of the road reviews for this game... So glad I pulled my pre-order now after getting bad vibes about the development. Maybe if this goes on sale for 15 bucks, I might pick it up, but other than that, glad I dodged the bullet.
