Nah, it's not enough. Companies who make games that are that expensive for consumers need to make sure their products meet a minimum standard and Cyberpunk was anything but. Patches may come to fix bugs, but the experience for those who put the most down on a game (when it first comes out) should be awesome, not horrible. Otherwise, the industry needs to start severely discounting preorders because of the risk to consumers.
Now this looks pretty cool. Too bad PS5 games are so expensive. Would have to wait for a sale to buy. But it'd probably be on the top of my list when a sales comes along. Sorry, Sony, but $10 does make a big difference to me. Doubtful I'll be doing much buying when it's day one unless the game launches at a lower price point. I've still got a huge back catalog to get through so waiting 6 months to a year, or wherever isn't a big deal.

You can do that. You're entitled to do so. Me, I'll call it what it is. A bad business practice that needs to end. The people who pay for this shady practice are the ones who put out the most amount of money for it. And let's face it, games are NOT cheap, so it's a pretty awful thing to do to those who put down the highest dollars for a game.
At $70-$130 a pop depending where you live in the world, it's an expensive investment for day one buyers and at that price, they should expect a polished, finished product with minimal glitches, like Spider-Man on PS4 or Horizon Zero Dawn. Both were ambitious and were excellent products when released with a few small glitches being patched out. This game is just a mess and in no way should have been released in its current state. The dev should've held on to it longer and optimized...

It's a new thing with YouTube. If the content is considered "mature" (eg. anyone older that 14 years old) then it's blocked from being embedded. You have to login to YouTube and watch it on their site. It's been slowly rolling out across all the videos on their site over the last few weeks.
But if you never used the disc drive in your PS4, why would it suddenly be worth it in a PS5? Just saying that there are different strokes for different folks. Personally, I'd pass on a disc drive PS5 and go digital since I haven't bought a disc game in years and don't think I'd ever go back.
The price hike just means that I'd be way more careful about what I buy when it first comes out and wait on more games to go on sale. The pricing on PS4 games when new was already too high for me, and the "deluxe" editions of games were just crazy. Playroom really shows how amazing it can be when used properly. I had no idea until I fired that up. It's a game changer and I can't wait to see more games use the tech in the future.

I haven't bought physical games in years and already have a standalone UHDBD player. The digital edition would make the most sense to me. The $100 isn't so much of a dealbreaker, it's just paying for something I wouldn't use. My PS4 disc drive hasn't spun up in 3 or so years now. No idea if it even works anymore tbh.
What the heck are you guys complaining about? If you bought it on PS4, you just put in your disc (or external hard drive with the digital version from PS4) into your PS5 and play it. It'll work and everything carries over via backwards compatibility. There's no charge. *eyeroll*
