Silverlight is pretty cool, I've seen what it can do.

The only way Sony would allow resale of items would be if it was done through a Sony-created infrastructure that would allow Sony to earn a percentage from each resale.
Sony isn't going to allow PS3 owners to make a profit (at least not without them taking a cut) from digitally-distributed content.
If that infrastructure isn't there, I can guarantee you that resale of purchased Home items will not be allowed.
At most, you might see a trade system similar...

That's their job. They're paid to worry about public opinion, and to either neutralize it or sway it in their favor.

Plainly put, if the interface in Windows MC won an Emmy, you'd be shouting it from the rooftops.

Sorry, the last reported Xbox Live membership count was 20 million Xbox Live memberships. That is silver and gold combined. There was no distinction made between Silver and Gold.
Sorry, there aren't 20 million XBox Live GOLD memberships, and even so, less than 1/8th of that number are playing Call of Duty WaW, and of the people playing Call of Duty WaW that have Gold memberships, maybe 1/4th of that number is actually playing online every day and getting onto the leaderboards.
Can we see any *good* games in 3-D?
