The point is still irrelevant. Everyone has different taste in games. Just because you're wealthy doesn't automatically mean a taste change.
That question makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and brings up a point that is completely irrelevant.

Well none of the God of War games have had self-shadowing, so I doubt this one will too. It would ground the characters and Kratos much more in the game world if the shadowing was there, but if not...oh well. I'll still buy it.
Additionally, I can't stand it when games' graphics are touted as being the best or super awesome, and the shadows don't fall on other characters or on themselves.
Two things that worry me, only from a technical standpoint:
So far I haven't seen any evidence of self-shadowing.
Also, this screenshot doesn't show the shadows properly for the wings he has. It seems the wing shadows are far away from his hands on the ground. I'm sure they'll fix that though:
