Riot shield in Uncharted 2 is pretty fun too.
You make funny joke, yes?
=)
LOL !
It's not the people, it's the justice system.
If this kind of justice system was in place in other parts of the world, you'd see the exact same thing happening.
11 thousand dollars? How about no.
You bet your ass there will be US holiday PS3 Slim bundles.
Yeah quite a few cars have that feature already in GT5prologue. I've never seen it in Forza.
GT4 had the active spoiler / air brake on the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, and I believe GT5prologue shows that feature on the Audi R8.
OMG gt5 doesn't even release for at least 5 months! Shut your damned mouths, Turn10!
Also, the fact that you are constantly running your mouths off about how your game is better than GT5 shows that you're really insecure and most definitely afraid. Good! You should be.
Yeah, Prologue has lots of shadow banding issues and some aliasing here and there. I'm pretty confident that will be remedied in GT5 proper.
For your peace of mind and knowledge, those shots are in-game.
Actually, I think 6 is the most I've had in a very very long time. It's been so long I can't remember what the most I had was lol.
These are in-game shots. Not from actually racing the cars, but from replays.
The car models, lighting, reflections, polygon count, track appearance, EVERYTHING is the same, except for the addition of added AA and motion blur. That's it.
So yes, the game really does look that good.
lol @ all caps mickey mouse headline
The c0ckpits are less detailed, lesser quality lighting, the c0ckpits in Forza look very flat and dull in comparison.
GT has real-time reflections, I have no idea what could possibly make you think otherwise. Even the multi-faceted interiors of the headlights in all the cars in GT each sport their own little tiny real-time reflections. The headlights alone in GT5's cars have about 5,000 polygons each.
This shot is in-game (only motion blur was added, no additional AA...
About the environment in GT -
I agree, except for the city environments, I definitely believe natural environments will be enhanced much more in GT5 Proper.
I'll wait for the better game =)
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue:
+ Car models near 200k polygons
+ Realistic lighting
+ Incredible reflections
+ Higher resolution game engine
+ Fantastic cityscapes
+ Detailed and faithfully-recreated vehicle c0ckpits
- Static Skyboxes and water
- Ugly natural fauna and crowds
- No real-time tread or tire marks on track
Forza 3:
+ More beautiful natural terrain
+ Better road textures and tire marks
+ ...
For once, I want a damned racing game that has a night mode AND has dynamic shadows when you have your headlights on.
Like...if you're behind someone with your lamps on, I want to see a big frickin' shadow cast on the track by the car in front of me.
If there's anyone who can pull that off, it's Polyphony Digital.
Maybe MW2 will let you move the shield to the side and do a pistol whip, but for some reason I don't see that as likely.
