Here goes microsoft looking to promote Digital Distribution again, since they can't do that by stalling the format war by promoting HD DVD.

Now they have to look to other measures, possibly by jumping on the bandwagon of a proven service....netflix.
Unfortunately, the fact that the cars are pushing 200,000 polygons each almost forces Polyphony Digital to lower the polys on the characters.
I am still blown away that there are 200,000 polygons per car....it's nuts...that's a little over 2X what we've seen already.
I read somewhere that Forza 2 pushed 80 or 90 thousand polys per car, and PGR4 was somewhere around 100,000 per car.

I don't like being set up with "people of the same skill level" all the time. A challenge is nice to have. It's the only way you'll get better in online FPSs...when you get your ass handed to you by someone 20 times as good...it's like being tempered by fire....you only get stronger!
