If the reviewer argues it's not entertaining or worthwhile a 4/10 sounds alright. We have to get out of this idea that everything below a 9 is not good.
Why are the people who make games like that so many times?
Anywhere the money is is "fantastic" for EA.
When I saw the latest gameplay for this game I realized I may not actually care that much for the otherwise big gap between Wii U and the real next-gen systems in terms of graphical prowess, because damn, X looks really friggin tight. It has good draw-distances, a perfectly-realized art design and really good framerate. (as in stable)
On the slightly less optimistic side though, I kind of giggle at a statement such as in the article title because there's no way X will act...
Sometimes I wonder what gaming would be like if there was just one gaming console with everything on it. Then there would be no need for aggressive competitive business deals for exclusivity and every gamer would be satisfied.
I admit I like owning a Nintendo console for Nintendo games because the console has some charm and uniqueness to it, but Xbox and PS4 are just so darn similar, but I have so little reason to buy the One now that I have a PS4 except I have a few friends ...
I'm okay as long as we still get these games where an experience has been crafted for us beforehand. Both types of games are great and I wouldn't want one to become popular at the expense of another.
Before this came out, I told my friend that if the marketing was true and this was simply a revenge-plot between MC and Locke where MC's actual story from Halo 4 was on the periphery and Locke wasn't developed properly this was going to be a really status-quo kind of story.
God. Damnit 343! Your story was so bad I could tell from one glance what it was about and this article just confirmed my suspicions. I was ready to be surprised if I played it, but now I know I'...
They are just giving people false hopes to ensure fans will stay interested.
This is your last chance Nintendo... You're treading on previous footprints, but I hope you manage to step out of them at some point.
It should've ended before 343i took over. They suck at making them.
That image is an awful example. It's captured with the game's engine (but will likely look worse on an actual PS4, just slightly) and it's a completely cinematic game. It sells the idea well for this one.
For other games where the CGI is not at all representative of the gampelay, yeah I'll never understand why I should be excited for that.
Cut down the AAA high-budget games productions to reduce cost for games people increasingly don't play, and focus on Ace Attorney. THe only Capcom and Monster Hunter series left that I care about. That's my strategy for you Capcom lol.
Yes, and there is a possibility for a 2016 release still... but it's a possibility that looks all the more unlikely when compared to how other games on the same list that were delayed from this year still have their "2016" stamp, like Star Fox for instance.
Nope. The reports of NX devkits going out claim it's two seperate consoles that can work in conjunction, so there will be a handheld and home console, but the question is "how will they connect?" and how would I play a superior-powered home-console game on my less powerful handheld? I'm hoping they've found some sort of scaling tech that makes it easy to create games where the graphics scale down to optimal performance on handheld.
On the other hand, I...
I'd say it's a good start and they said other games will be priced downloads and feature other characters.
I just hope they're sticking to 5$ games and not 15$ or something like Square Enix's crap.
I just played scratches for the first time this year. Excellent little horror-gem. The writing is great (except the super rushed ending) and the buildup is fantastic.
2017 release almost confirmed. I'm guessing it's the new potential Aonuma said the team realized and most likely porting and upgrading it to NX like how Pikmin 3 was ported and upgraded to have HD visuals.
Personally I'd have been fine if they'd just rereleased Melee for every console with HD upgrades and 16:9.
After Brawl I just realized Melee is my Smash Bros. and I didn't really feel the hype for the latest one, except that it came to 3DS too.
I wouldn't be sad if the series stopped evolving here.
Yeah, I really wanna say they're copying Ex Machina but their idea actually came first.
(but the whole idea of synthetic life and AIs is really classic sci-fi stuff anyway)
They'd best rename that to Need For Shiit, amirite bro!?
