Personally I would say if mods are vital to your purchase of a game, check to see if the steam version can be modded first. I have found most games can be modded, and often the ones that cant only have the problem with script editing/extending mods. If the game you are after cannot be modded, buy the original disc version, Often GOTY packs etc. are pre-patched beyond v1.00
You might be surprised. I haven't actually tried this mod myself, but most people are saying that it doesn't require as much extra resources as you might first think
I purchased a £500 laptop a few months ago and that runs every game I have bought for it, Including crysis, Can even get DX10 and some settings on very high for a slight drop in resolution.
Until you try PC gaming at this current time you could be given a false impression, because there certainly used to be a lot more difficulty than there is now. For the price I bought my laptop I could have got a much better rig if I had anywhere to put it, And it can do so many other ...
Yeah cause Steam wouldn't give you a heads up that you should re-download and backup all your games if they were to shut down. MS and their games on demand I am not sure of though.
But yes the guy above is very correct, it will use a 25Gb capacity format
True, forgot about that, Still I doubt Bethesda will get modding past MS, otherwise UT3 on 360 would have got mods too
RPGs? No way, Hot Keys are a major advantage in RPGs. I don't disagree with with sports and other genres though. Platforming I find is great on either since ASWD is essentially a dpad
Well Skyrim may bring Mods to consoles for the first time if Bethesda are allowed, However it seems Skyrim will likely release before this mod anyway, Or very close to its release date
Sometimes the recap deal doesn't give you the full daily deal price you may have missed and instead offers you the discount that usually follows for a day or two after the daily offer. Same happened to me with Amnesia
Yeah its not a major issue, its something to do with quad core processors, you have to ask it to run off of 2
http://forums.steampowered....
That will fix it for you, It took me ages to get out of the Vault, I bought it too, had insta-freeze issues and gave up all hope, a bit of searching a couple weeks back found me this fix and it works great. You still get your usual ...
Witcher 2 and Amnesia:Dark Descent here, 2 deals I missed during the week, have to love the final days deal recap
Agreed, Alienware will rip your off, you can setup something the same as they will offer you for 1/4 of the price, and if your not sure how to do it, youtubes search can help you have it running in a day
Try checking what Nm your vital parts run at and you can also create a relatively energy efficient rig
This game is a better RPG than Halo.
Halo is a better FPS than this game.
But if you read the rest of the article it clearly points out it may help towards future CFW, so the intentions are very obvious
In short yes. You can download fully rebuilt versions of Oblivion and Morrowind right now
I never said it was cancelled, it was rejected, I never actually said anything about it being cancelled?
By rejected does that not indicate that the build shown was rejected, As is often the case with many game. Has nothing to do with being cancelled or axed at all and I never indicated that it did
They have been for a while, they tried to pitch it before back when the battlefield 3 announcement trailer was shown, but it was rejected. They did say they it wasn't the end for the franchise and its good to see talk about the project surfacing again
I run Crysis at very high on most settings dx10 (11 is too much for my setup) and this only from a Geforce GT 415M, yep...laptop. But I drop the resolution a bit and window it for better settings. It all depends on the sacrifices you are willing to make to get the performance. I bet medium settings is more likely
I just don't see why we cant have both. Vaiety is what made the early days of gaming great
