Gaming is not getting expensive, its getting cheaper, the price of games is the same it was at the start of this gen but the hardware is half the price....How is it getting more expensive? Don't like paying for DLC wait for the GOTY at 2/3 of the price
Well you can now actually join in progress, But the reason for the slow speeds in general is they actually don't have enough servers and you often end up in a P2P game anyway
I won't lie, when a handheld is hacked I normally smile, I don't like the fact that it opens piracy, but for a legit user like me it can open much more interesting features.
Take the PSP for instance, I have 2. One legit, one hacked, legit for my disc based games and hacked for my PS1 games. I mean how cool is that of a feature, grab my old PS1 games and rip them to iso and play away on the go.
Im not sure how the DS hacks work as I only have a legit ...
I'm on live, struggling like mad to get a game right now on gears, I thought it was my internet but PS3 and PC BF3 betas are working. Then I just figured the gears servers were having issues, Guess I was wrong.
Hope this is sorted soon
fraid so, US only too I think
Beta reviewing..... Seriously?
PixL you couldn't be much more confused. You want to work on your PC and not have a loud VGA, turn the fan speeds down, its not in use anyway. Also pretty much all modern processors now have built in Intergrated-graphics too. You can actually use the Nvidia control panel to task different programs to the intergrated and the VGA so you can keep your VGA from being used for hardware acceleration during common use.
PC has lots of pad support. 360 or DS3 will work with a lot ...
And there lies a deep problem, from that I am guessing you had the console beta. For anyone on console you have to go through the horribly awkward process of joining origin just to give feedback. So a lot of feedback won't reach them.
The PC gamers are forced through the registration to get in on the beta, so the feedback will come in thicker and faster. I hope they implement as much of the feedback for PC as possible into console versions too, Because I think this is goi...
Just to clarify for the poor guy getting hammered with disagrees, 'Sticky White Stuff' is a message you could leave in Demons souls, it was also an item.
If you ever read that message next to the bed in the first level of Demon's Souls, I'm your culprit
I had the opposite experience most of the time, I could outrun bullets easy, but take down 3+ people in half a clip, it's a balance issue, I'm sure they are aware of it and it will be fixed. Internal testing never could have missed this much of a balance issue
I would wait for the final release, got in on a game on the internal testing on caspian border on pc earlier, speaking with a tester he said that this build isn't as recent as people were probably expecting. I know my word is worth nothing alone, but if you search around, people from the alpha are saying this is almost an alpha copy.
Honestly from playing all 3 versions of the beta for now I have come to the judgement that this is purely server testing and barely anything...
Well I may not agree with you fully but I do think that all movies need a weapon, Action is important but I just don't like they way they fall back on it so often now.
But I couldn't agree more about the emotion rants in movies, Again it feels like a way for them to cheat you out of a real story. To me a really good story has to contain many events as varied as possible without going off plot, and the events need to affect at least a group rather than a sole person. I...
Wow, Blaze you should work in a TV store, The customers eat up that kind of bull
No offence, but those types of movies are the exact reason I find movies un-watchable nowadays. Run of the mill is everywhere. What the movie industry needs is more story focus and less action focus. Some films are like a hack n' slash game these days and dead island will likely be the same.
Gore gore gore... Stabby stabby slash slash decapitation, slight love element, love element dies, slash stab end. I really miss movies with a good complex story with much better pace...
The numbers are bound to increase more and more, The graphical power of your average laptop is looking to take a considerable leap in the next year or two. There is a reason Nvidia are working hard on multiple new mid range architectures right now, significantly more than they usually do.
They are aware of the succes mobile gaming had, they are aware that all it takes is to have the offering available to a large market, they are aware that social networking is where a lot of ...
They can stay where they are for all I care, Far Cry 3 looks stunning and right now I wouldn't want Crytek anywhere near it. I actually trust Ubi with it more
I just want some DLC that tells me why the Locust Queen is human. I have waited 3 games for that answer now.
However on the gameplay side I would like to see some more of the wastelands explored in campaign DLC. Perhaps fight another huge beast again, they said they would do DLC unrelated to Delta squad so maybe I will get lucky
Also its pretty likely that there is a DX9 build, Since the 360 is still DX9
No, what he's saying is he is a dev, first and foremost he makes games. His point is that the amount of work required to 'optimize' these games into working on console hardware just isn't worth the sales. He can break even since PC/Ios is where Indie sells best. His final comment if anything, indicated that he believes that at least one more powerful console platform will be available at some point next year
Yeah but this is one lazy troll, it's just an alteration of the same name, hammering out the same illiterate comments.
He couldn't be more deluded, U3 online is fun, but BF has a more fleshed out online experience. Probably got a lot to do with the fact BF is built for online and U3 is more SP focused
