Well I didn't expect it to look like a PS3 game when playing PS2 games so I guess it did look good to me. I just expected the exact same experience as PS2 except with a downsized screen. But instead we got screen size options AND smoothing.
I know the immediate response would be that it looks worse than PS2 but it actually is because of your HDTV. The PS2 looks even worse stretched out across a 40" screen. But the smoothing on PS3 does actually help to clear the pict...
Couldn't agree more, It kind of makes me think of PS home actually, its free and available to everyone yet it has a considerably small user-base for the quantity of people it is available to. It still struggles to deliver its promises because the amount of paying customers is even smaller than the user-base.
I really hope people don't start throwing themselves into this like crazy, Just do it like Valve, make a popular part of their library F2P and test the waters fir...
Although the disagrees made sense, you do realize people at N4G can have a life? Some of us leave it running in the background while gaming or skim it every now and then while watching the TV. Maybe this is done by people with partners and even families?

That's because Uncharted supports uncompressed audio also known as DTS (Digital True Surround)
They didn't include this in the multiplayer download. I dabble in Audio Engineering and have used Uncompressed Audio in the past, For reference it turned a song which would have been 5.6Mb into a 740Mb file. That's basically =/= to a highly compressed movie including audio.
To include the Uncompressed Audio found on the disc would have made the download ...
Good choice, they revealed almost every character already. I decided to completely convince myself I have no interest in the game, Its worked so far but it's getting harder now. I wish they only announced features rather than characters as I have had to dodge pretty much every article

Not really, Modified servers always come with BF games, DICE knew it was going to happen, just probably not with the beta. TBH if DICE were calling the shot then they probably would let it go ahead and take advantage of the opportunity for extra stress testing

Well I wont be buying unless it comes to steam, I really want the game but I do NOT want Origin. Even if I buy it on disc I am stuck with origin. So yeah a steam copy would be a good idea, I know at least 1 other person who won't be buying for the same reason
