I know it's a concept but the sticks look too far apart. Really not sure how I am supposed to hold it and play for long hours
I personally think Bioware and Bethesda have fallen harder.
At least the gameplay Bungie produces is still mechanically solid.
The original Gears must be the most given out games in history lol
I dont think anyone has been fooled or misdirected. We are smart people and we know what games do to us based on our own experiences. Literally everyone I've spoken to has dismissed his comments.
@masterCornholio it doesnt really matter anyway. it doesnt change the fact they have an engine problem
I wouldnt say everyone. it's easy to dismiss it in hindsight but there were quite a number of fallout fans i personally known that (while skeptical) were very excited about it. I've been kind of burnt out by fallout 4 so I wasnt as excited for 76.
Whether its indicative or not, the crowd was going crazy for it at the e3 reveal
and I've read countless comments to the effect of "finally I can play fallout with my friends"

the "if it's not broke don't fix it" mentality is exactly why they screwing up.
They thought their engine wasn't broke so thought they could use it for the last 10 years and chuck MP on it and everyone would just eat it up.
They haven't tried to fix anything lol
IMO they need to fix or severely improve their engine first.
Apart of the reason Fallout 76 failed wasn't totally because of the idea (people were initially on board pre-release) but it's the bug-riddled, crashy, horrible looking, clunky engine Bethesda have been sticking to while they make their games in a vacuum.
Fallout 3/Skyrim were over 10 years ago now. That's why, while Fallout 4 was no doubt a huge success, it just wasn't the maste...
Yeah play the order they were released.
Some people suggest chronologically, but the way certain reveals happen in certain games the narrative was purposely written in a way that it makes most sense to play them in release order. There are certain callbacks or references in MGSV to the first metal gear solid for example. So if you played them in chronological order you will have no idea what those references in V are referring to
who approved this title?
Until it gets ps3 games no thanks
For 3 years in the market, the medium has made significant progress in the scope of games they can create, hardware improvements like power, resolution, wireless etc. and popularity.
It's still in the growing stage, it'll only get better from here as it continues to grow, developers and publish continue to learn and improve and more people get introduced to it.
GlaDos would be mine
*Except for indies and JRPGs
PSVR still does the demo disc!
As long as it's natively compatible with PS4 it won't need to fill in much:
1. Most PS3 gen games have been remastered, including most of the best ones. I can maybe think of a handful like the dead space, mass effect, portal, resistance, killzone games that still need to come over but overall you got almost all of them.
2. PS1 and 2 you've either got ports, the classic library or remakes (which is my favourite method of replaying classics).
...
that's where remakes come in handy
Agree to the extent of PS3 Games.
PS3 Games look fine and with a nice touch up they look as good as some PS4 Games.
Agree with PS1 and PS2 but Sony have already done a good job supporting and making remakes for those consoles like crash, CTR, spyro, Yakuza 1 and 2, Ratchet and Clank, Shadow of the Collossus, Oddworld, Final Fantasy VII, MediEvil Resident Evil 2, which from my experience is how i much rather play them. Can't speak for FF7 and MediEvil ...
I'm just interested in gameplay and judging by the preview impressions it has potential but too early to tell. I wouldn't write it off just yet
I wasn't completely sold on it from the trailers but this footage looks a lot better.
Visuals look fantastic and represent what my nostalgia glasses remember of playing this when it first came out.
However, some of the combat sections did look a bit janky or choppy. can't tell if it's framerate issues or not. Hoping it feels smooth on release
