Tone is a very undertalked about theme when trying to relive nostalgia it's why that no matter how many Yoshi games they do, they will never beat Yoshi's Island for me because it had such a unique tone to it.

I imagine it's because it's pretty far in development. Some games don't get revealed until their ready and start a longtime ago OR it's not a game that would take long to make.
So something like BOTW or Horizon took multiple years to make, we just knew about them far earlier than say, devil may cry 5 was revealed within a year of its release but still took roughly the same amount of time.

I think 2k would have certain terms in their license agreement with NBA and WWE that restricts them from going multiplat. I can imagine sony doing a minecraft with those or they might just sacrifice the license for the other IP and WWE goes to something like EA
Shawn Layden did talk about ps5 having a bigger focus on MP than before and take-two does fill a lot of gaps in Sony's lineup which includes but not limited to shooters, strategy and multiplayer games.
sony can continue to focus on doing their single player story driven IP likr they have been while T2 has the infrastructure to push out games like GTA, borderlands, NBA2k which i imagine will push up ps plus subscriptions in the process, which is a huge revenue earner.

it isnt necessarily about rockstar needing sony or losing money by having gta on one platforms. that's not exactly how acquisitions work.
