TBH The first few hours of BL2 are underwhelming and a slog too, especially if you go str8 back to it after beating the game. But it ramps up and gets way better later on

They are just giving their early impressions so far which will be updated when they finish this "very long game" which might take some time.
Horizon Zero Dawn showed me how it's supposed to be done. the way the sun works with shadows and colors in that game is astounding.

Specific to Xbox One? I agree you can make the argument as an overall package it's a great offering for the Xbox One library. It really is an all-rounder. However, I would say Forza Horizon 3 (and until recently, Ori+Cuphead) is the overall best Xbox One exclusive though.
