I'd say the exact opposite of that. A Link Between Worlds was the most boring and simple Zelda game I've ever played. There was nothing to discover. You were given almost everything you need right from the start. Then you just ran through the dungeon, fought a simple boss and repeated until the end.
Skyward sword was the most original Zelda game I've played since Wind Waker almost entirely do to the Wiimote. I felt their was a lot more that they could have done wi...
Zelda games have never had levels. There is just one big world.
Quests are predominately for extra content like pieces of heart and upgrades.
@Shinaster, the game is already half-assed. That is the only possible explaination for why it is not done.
They aren't aiming for "anything" on the Wii U version. You can choose to pretend the preceding facts don't exist, but they had more time to work on this game for the Wii U before the PS4/XBONE versions were started than they've been working on the PS4/XBONE.
The only explanation for why the version that has been in production the l...
I'll probably catch flak for pointing this out, but Fire Emblem "was" a premier Nintendo franchise in its homeland. It wouldn't be becoming one. It would be returning to one.
Its actually been in steep decline. Awakening just managed to keep the Franchise above water as far as its head developers were concerned.
How the writer drew the title from that is beyond me.
The Wii U is the only console that I can say is still a true gaming console.
The others are non-upgradable PCs that are missing most PC features and free.
If the Wii U wasn't here, last gen would have been my last foray into consoles. Its the only reason I have to play games on something that is not my PC, and occasionally my 3DS when I travel.
I don't like the idea of being able to destroy the blue shell to begin with. I's supposed to be the ultimate unstoppable weapon that keeps the tension flowing.
When people see that someone has a blue shell in a local multiplayer game, they often start slowing, where I'm from, in order to get behind someone else. Its a weapon that invoked strong emotion and though in everyone.
I say they need to make an even stronger item that nothing can destroy. ...
If you want to talk to Nintendo, send them a message.
Am I the only person who gets annoyed when people make these presumptuous open letter articles?
I hope Nintendo follows none of these people idea's and makes does something unique and original like I'm used to seeing.
And Nintendo gamers.
They delayed it because the Wii U version was never a priority version to begin with.
It wasn't even being worked on by the same people who worked on the other versions of Watchdog's. They gave it to some B rank studio in Budapest or something. Can't remember the exact place but it wasn't their A Team.
They've never made the Wii U versions of anything multiplat a priority beside Rayman Legend. That is why the Wii U versions of Assassin'...
That is 100% correct. By 2015 no one will care about this game anymore, especially on a system that has a rep for getting the versions of multiplats with with the least amount of effort and care put into them with a higher price tag(and it will be higher by the time this comes out).
Anyone who wanted this game would have already gotten it and there will be so much else out on the Wii U by then that only fool would still buy this game on it after all of this.

The definitive version of any game will be on the PC.
That is rubbish. You don't understand anything about CPU's if you believe that.
As devs have stated before, Wii U devleopment takes no longer than 360/PS3 developement, and the PS4 and XBONE take more to develop for than the PS3/360/Wii U.
Architecture isn't an issue because they are using Unity which "already adapted the Wii U hardware to take ports directly from the PC".
Technically, no one else should be getting it, as no one else paid for it. The game was funded by PC and Wii U owners alone. There were no other console versions in the beginning beside the Wii U.
They took and used the PC/Wii U owners money to fund the 360/PS3 versions, then scrapped those and used it to fund the PS4/XBone versions.
The Wii U version was in development "over a year" before the PS4/XBone versions were even started. There is no good ...
There is no logic to this.
The Wii U version was in development before the PS4/Xbone even came into existence. It was the only console version and started on over a year before the PS4/XBone versions were started.
This game should have already been out for the Wii U. The fact that consoles that just came out already have the game nearly finished and the Wii U version which has been in announced for over a 2 years now needs a delay means that they never even c...
No, that is not "true" at all.
Anyone who wants a game will get it by whatever means it is most accessible on. Anyone who wanted this game would have already gotten it by the time it comes out on the Wii U.
If they truly believed release time didn't majorly affect sales, then they would not be releasing the PS4 and Xbone versions at the same time.
@Concertoine, your statement is admittedly wrong as the people who wanted it on t...
PC is not next gen. It is PC. It is beyond all gens. Never class console on the same level as it.
Other than that, though, I agree. SMS just crapped on everyone who originally funded this game for the Wii U.
No, that simply does not fly.
The only version that were originally in developement and the only version that were paid for by fans to make were the PC and Wii U version of the game. The Wii U version had been in development for over a year before the PS4 and Xbone versions were even started.
There is no excuse for this. The Wii U version should have been the furthest along, but they've clearly not even given it any real attention for it to have been in d...
I hate crap like this. People always talking about what a game should have and how it should be made. That is what makes games stale. Always asking for stuff that generally amounts to copying what everyone else is doing.
This game is an original looking idea, so I would hope that it has original game modes to go with. I don't won't typical staples that you see everywhere in everything. That would just make this game another generic shooter with a different coast of pa...
The Wii U was the most "powerful" console this game was being made for originally. The only console this game was announced for in the beginning were the Wii U, PS3 and 360.
The Wii U version had already been in development over a year before the PS4/Xbone versions were started and when the 360/PS3 versions were discontinued, the devs said specifically that they were still doing the Wii U version because it had enough power to run the game as they wanted.

Nintendo did not make a "tablet controller" to begin with. They decided on going with a touchscreen controller for asymmetric gaming in 2007 based on the DS before any tablets were even released. The tablet boom was coincidental as was said by Miyamoto right after it was revealed and people were being hyper presumptuous in trying to insist that Nintendo was just trying to cash in on the tablet boom like this article is continuing.
The entire line of argument regardi...
