There are 7 million sellers on the Wii U at the moment.
It was a poorly made joke. I've seen better.
That makes no sense. A texture is a texture whether its plain, realistic, cel or otherwise.
How long textures take to render depends purely on the physical size of the data vs the transfer rate of the hardware, not how they look or what style they use.
Where did you get this ridiculous information?
Wind Waker HD took over half a year to port. The reason it renders so fast is because the game was designed to take advantage of faster loading me...
The game isn't even great. Its just popular to the point that it feeds on its own popularity like Call of Duty.
It became a thing to have. Ask someone to tell you what's so great about and they will have very few specific things to say.
The power of anti-Nintendo news.
Majora's Mask is out of the question. That would require an entire remake.
You can't just put HD textures on an N64 and expect it to look modern.
Why do people keep insisting on this? Don't they know how this stuff works. And HD remaster is just the same game with higher res textures.
This is the most "next gen" looking game I've seen to date.

The first versions was never released on a console. Though I guess any hint of The Longest Journey that is left will be gone from this game given how longs its been and the difference in the makeup of who is developing it.
I guess you might as well make Dreamfall into its on series now. Can't really call this part of The Longest Journey anymore given how bad Dreamfall butchered the world and plot.
Probably because there is none. Its just a lame attempt at passing off spite and resentment as humor.
Dreamfall is not the series.
The Longest Journey, which is one of the best adventure games ever made, is the series.
Dreamfall was a (subpar) sequel to the Longest Journey, and it was not point and click at all. It played like Fable only with far less interaction and a really bland combat system. The creativity that made TLJ so popular was replaced with a generic, spoiled, teeny bopper protagonist and generic modern, for the time, cliches.
...
And this is the second time it has happened to my knowledge. The first was with Project C.A.R.S.
This is going to hurt many legit developers because people who going to stop supporting them out of the distrust that actions like this generate.
Nope, not developer"s". Just one.
Their game is free to play...
lol_fail fails again. Jumps to support anything negative about Nintendo at face value without a clue of what's going on.
This is absolute bull. You don't hear this from any of the other indie devs. These guys just don't consider the Wii U a priority and opt to blame the Wii U and Nintendo rather than themselves for their bad support of their boring game like the oversized third party devs are doing.
Smaller third party devs are having none of the problems that the bigger ones like to complain about after a game doesn't get received how they want it, and smaller indie devs are having...
See, I've been having a huge problem with that.
PS3/360 games are HD. So how can you make something HD into HD? The next step is 2k and no console can do that in a game.
This failed when it tried to attribute some form of connection between the design decisions of Mario Kart and Mortal Kombat.
I'm sure both have those features for their own reasons independent of each other or any trends.
This isn't something new either. Many fightig games have had custom move features. Then doesn't point to any form of "trend".
I refuse to by this butchered mess. If you want this game then go get the retranslation for it somewhere online that didn't have all of the plot cut out.
My Wii U is filled with almost nothing but third party games. Its been working for me.
I buy Nintendo consoles for the unique exclusives they get, and the Wii U hasn't failed me at all. Never been into their first party titles aside from Mario Kart.
I'm looking forward to Xenoblade Cross, Devil's Third, Fatal Frame 5 and Bayonetta 2. DELICIOUS!!!
No, Wii 2 would have been even worse. It would have been too predictable and unoriginal. It also would have fed into all of the whiners who were insisting there would be a Wii 2 like Patcher.
The name Wii should have been dropped from the system.
I personally would have gone with the Split Screen System(SSS) following in the vein of the NDS which the console is based on. That would have been much more marketable.
If you can't tell by the most of replies, you people care far more about this news than Nintendo fans do.
I'm only responding to point this out and correct the misinformation as always. I really couldn't care less about what notch said personally.
