I've yet to here a single complaint from Indie devs about releasing their games on the Wii U. Only praises.
They have also reported high sales, which contradicts the claim that third party games don't sale. The Wii U will be the place to go for Indie games on the next gen consoles.
It "would have been" but not anymore.
We already no what it will look like. Nitnendo releaed screenshots when it was first announced. Articles like this are pointless.

This is what, XXXX**** could look like next-gen/in HD/remade articles and what-not always irk me because the people always try to go for a bland, "realistic" art style in doing so. In my opinion that removes all of what could be called "style" from the game.
It the graphics were colorful, dynamic and animated in the oginal version then they should be more so in the later version.
Not saying this is one of those case but seeing it with jus...
That comment about the 3DS and Wii U development was ridiculous and looked like low key bashing. It doesn't even make sense.
Why would you have to do anything "twice"? The 3DS just alters the depth of the images you are viewing and divides things up between its two screen according to what the dev wants on each one. You have to make the game twice to do that? The Wii U Gamepad simply duplicates the images that it is sent in most case and anything else, you just ...
Its called a Platformer. Its a genre. Mario is not the first, the last or the definition of it.
Having platforming mechanics and pixel graphics does not in anyway = Mario. Nothing about this looks like Mario. I would relate this to Alex Kidd, Treasure Master or Wonder Boy before I would relate it to Mario. The only thing I could possibly compare to being like Mario is the coin symbol at the top, but that would depend on whats its used for.
The only thing you ...
Power to the indie's. They are future of gaming.
Giant corporations like EA, Activision, Ubisofot and Square-Enix have become nothing more than corporate marketing machines that are all about money. There is no soul or creativity in their games anymore. Just pure numbers.
Specialists companies like Epic Games, Quantic Dreams, and Mojan have also begun to, if not totally lost their way.
The industry needs new blood and we need to support ...
Doesn't sound like something any Nintendo fan I know would say. Sounds more like something a person who was trying to make fun of Nintendo fans would say to draw anger towards Nintendo fans.
The Wii U is looking to be the best console for Indie games now. The library just keeps expanding so fast.
I've already got 3 myself.
It's already been confirmed that price isn't the problem, so what is the point of these now?
I could make an estimate like this, but CNN's price bases are likely aiming for the lowest cost over everything which is more than likely lower than what it actually costs. Especially the controller and the gpu.
They also aren't taking into account the actual labor, manufacturing cost, shipping, and the retailers cut of the profit.
Well, either way, people who don't like Nintendo are bound to eat this up and spin it every way they can as %100, una...
No, he just sounds like someone who actually has some common sense and looked at the fact and details instead of slamming the console based on nothing more than it being a Nintendo product while insulting and bashing anyone who doesn't hate Nintendo and worship Sony.
Its sad that you got so many disagrees for this.
Article like this are pure trash. That is no accident.
That is a complete lie. The last I checked, the Wii had 140 million sellers. Most of those were third party games. On top of that, Wii U games did not need to sale as much to meet sales expectations because there development cost was only a fraction of an average PS3/360 game. A game that sold half as much on the Wii generated more profit than an equivalent 360/PS3 game.
The facts contradict your statement.
Those games were old, poorly done ports that no one wanted. On top of that they were sold for $60 whey they could be gotten anywhere else on any more established platform for 1/3 that price. That is why they didn't sale.
It would be one thing if all of them at least "ran properly" but the glitches and artifacts were undeniable. On top of that, most of Wii U owners had already played them elsewhere.
Nintendo fans were given a bad deal and then ba...
Wow, this got approve quickly! I guess this shows just how much more people prefer news about Nintendo that has a negative slant.
This is a bad decision for Deep Silver though, because it will kill future chances of success on the consoles. Nintendo fans do not forget. They know who has burned them and who has not. This is why few people buy EA products on Nintendo consoles.
Dead Island was really a mediocre game when I played it on PC and there was definitel...
They have long since announced that there will eventually be a unified account system for the Wii U and that Miiverse will be integrated into the 3DS if I am not mistaken.
Yay, more original dev support. The Wii U lineup just keeps getting better and better.
That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard regarding the Wii U. People are saving up money for console that they don't even know the form or price of that have no release date?
You asked "how is wanting Bayonetta 2 on other consoles, me hating Nintendo though? "
Well, because its ridiculous otherwise. How many time have you complained about Halo, God of War, or Twisted Metal not coming to a Nintendo platform?
To complain about a game not coming out is fine. Complaining about the the game coming to one console when it used to come to more is fine. Complainining about it going to the console of a publisher that saved it from...
