No, I think Ubisoft will understand when it sells next to nothing because everyone is buying the bigger/better games that come out that month.
Stronger? Strength that has nothing to do with this. The Wii U is stronger than the man platforms this game is being made for.
They word this like its some major loss of another third party dev by personifying the game(saying the game is skipping the Wii U instead of the specific dev refusing to make something for it again) when its just EA. Everyone knows that EA is bitter at Nintendo.
As far as I'm concerned, Nintendo should actively "ban" EA ...
You have beaten this horse into the ground.
There have been price cuts since December and they have never achieved success. Price is 0% of the problem.
It was already confirmed higher by actual retailers. There was a 125% increase. I don't know where this article got its info from.
How that is relevant to this article, I do not know.
I don't recall anyone saying Lego Batman would boost anything because its and old Wii game that most people already have. Also, it doesn't come out until next month I don't even see why that was released.
MHU did boost sales quite a bit so I don't know what you are getting at or this article.
The sales doubled in March. How did they come to the conclusion that they would slump?
This article is about Dragon Quest X, not the Wii U.
No next gen? I thought it was announced for the Wii U?
No everyone likes to support piracy
It got around 1/4 the performance of the PS3/360 at 1/10th the power cost. Nothing lame about that.
Too my knowledge, there were no inaccuracies with the sensor bar at. There were some precision issues with the Wii-mote itself before motion plus but it was mostly user error when they did not function properly.
The Wii did play dvds, just not standard video which it had no reason to have. Everyone has multiple ways to play DVDs these days. Why wear out your Wi...
How quickly people forget the crooked things done to them when offered a cheap stipend. To so much as download this demo would be to slap oneself in the face. It would be showing them that they can screw customers and we will still eat out of their hands at their beckoned call. It would tell them that doing us wrong doesn't matter, so they can do what they want when they want it with no repercussions.
Any Wii U owner who gets this game will be insulting gamers everywhere....
I point it out repeatedly.
But I thought Nintendo was doomed?
You can't get Trine 2 Director's Cut, Most Wanted U or Deus Ex Director's cut anywhere near the same graphics on the PS3.
You also can't get Lego City Undercover, Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate, ZombiU, TokiTori 2, Little Inferno, Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2, need I go on?
Last I checked, most Wii U games were still under development.
Third party devs who are supporting them at the moment who I can name off the top of my head:
1. Square-Enix
2. Capcom
3. Namco-Bandai
4. Konami
5. Sega
6. Platinum Games
7. Ubisoft
8. GrassHopper Manufacturer
9. Atlus
10.Rebellion
11.505 Games
12.TT Games
13.Warner Bros Interactive
14.Activision
...
No, the Wii U will survive because it is a good console and it will offer better graphics than the last gen consoles at a lower cost than the other two next gen consoles on top of having unique games and exclusives like Bayonetta 2.
The Wii U will survive because it will have good games and it will be fun to play.
I'm not saying you specifically but I remember the general opinion of the Wii U version being 5-7's or 3/5.
I'm seeing a lot more 8's and 9's now that its out for the 360/PS3. I just thought it was strange.
Its strange how I am seeing overwhelmingly higher review scores for the PS3/360 release of this than I saw for the Wii U even though they are exactly the same.
No, the point of that was that the game was ported lazily. Games don't make themselves. They don't magically upgrade by putting them in stronger hardware.
A game will do what developers make it do. If the effort isn't made to replace the textures with higher resolution, more detailed textures then there will be none. That has nothing to do with power. The Wii U version is a straight port of the 3DS game. 1080/60 FPS is just something the console naturally adds to...
Also, I could have sworn that this was already posted and that it was only for the U.K. which this article is not stating.
