if this is what we're getting out of the PS3 in only its 3rd year, I may not need a new console for a long time. Seriously, the quality of textures and the detail in his face is almost scary. Add to that the great voice acting, story, gameplay and I really see this one being a huge blockbuster for Sony.
I think I might play through Uncharted for a fifth time in preparation for this game.
And where are all the Microsoft Games Studios releases? I see a whole slew of Sony game studios releases? Hmmmmm

BTW, shame on MS for keeping its entire announcement in the dark. This is friggin May and 360 owners don't know what they're getting this year. So glad I opted for a PS3. Bring on E3!
What does that mean? The art style of the game is darker and therefore cooler? Infamous is said to have better graphics, better gameplay, while Prototype "looks cooler." I wonder which one I'll buy and which I'll rent. Oh wait, I already know the answer to that question.

are people that already own PS3s. If you own a 360 and you got it at launch, then you shouldn't really complain about paying launch price for a 360 but with a bigger HDD and so much more functionality. I'm glad Sony's not caving in to the pressure.
And if you really want a PS3 but the 100 bucks is make or break then you should pay attention to Gamestop and other sites like Dell. You can find a PS3 for 299.99 on those sites quite frequently.
we should be able to walk around a virtual E3 in Home. Or at least a Sony gamer's lounge with E3 games available. How cool would that be? For the day you could play all the games that the press were able to play in the Sony booth. THAT is the type of stuff that takes Home out of the joke category, at least IMO, and makes it legit.
and the quality of the articles, both grammatical and content, have improved greatly and seem to continue to improve. Not many on here compliment a site when it does something right but I have to say that I like the new layout and am glad to see that the site isn't all about flame bait stories and sensationalistic headlines anymore.
and maybe not. Game is getting rave reviews and it seems like the far and away superior game to Prototype. I got my money for it so I'm picking it up. But I really don't need Infamous to show me what GTAIV could've been on PS3 exclusively because Rockstar pretty much confirmed that when they bished about MS not letting them access the HDD drive.
Back in the NES and Sega Master system days, you were never clowned for owning one system over the other. Both had their pros and cons. Turbo Graphix owners were so rare (in my neighborhood at least) that if you found one you couldn't wait to go over their house and play games.
Super NES vs. Sega Genesis wasn't that bad either. Certain games were just much better on Genesis and certain games on SNES weren't even possible on Genesis. Still a win-win.

Doesn't the PS3 already have Japan? It's outsold the Wii this year at its current price and that was just off the help of a demo. When the game comes out it's over.

Once you get all the classes, and then unlock their secondary abilities, it's a whole new game. My favorite secondary ability is the ability to repair. I wish getting the tactician's secondary badge wasn't so darn hard. That class and the saboteur are the only two I have yet to unlock.
why do I continue to buy the new Madden when the upgrades are minimal? I already sold Madden 09 because I plan on getting Madden 2010. I'll shake the habit one day...I hope.
I've now decided to get a Mac. In the latest in what have become regular problems with my laptop, the plastic molding around the screen cracked living my screen seperated from the laptop itself in the right hand corner. Sucks bad cuz I just paid 200 bucks to have them fix the other hinge last year for the same problem!

Games like this are joke games. You can't sell these games for full retail price against the mega games available now. Last year was a different story. The landscape and available games were not nearly as robust as it is today. This game screams for a 29.99 or 39.99 price point. At that price, it becomes an impulse purchase. For more than that it's just not feasible as evidenced by the sales.
