It didnt have that effect with me....it was basically the originally planned ending for 28 days later.

Was I the only one who was not blown away with the end of TLOU? In fact the entire game, although great was nothing really new or groundbreaking.

I never trust any reviews or opinions that claim something is "the ultimate". Game looks mildly interesting but also looks like a freebie.

If Sony was absolutely sure it would turn a profit they would have bankrolled it completely. However, Sony made a smart move back in June. Earn lots of positive kudos at E3 by announcing it...but with a huge cavet...you want it then "show me the money".

I have to say, given how everyone was talking this up I would have thought reaching 10 million would have been a walk in the park.

Really? So you guys think people would have paid more for dlc after that launch or that they could have gotten away with releasing less dlc content but keep the prices the same as they are now?

if they had priced it like COD or Destiny DLC after that launch there would have been a significant backlash I'm guessing.

Not quite sure I agree with that. If the driving mechanics and gameplay were the same but the visuals looked last gen then I doubt people would make such claims. However, the visuals are currently the best of any console arcade racer....although there is still room for improvement.

Let's face it, they had to make good for gamers after the less than stellar launch. I for one am excited at what Driveclub 2 will be like.

All but Metro for me. That game was a real paint by numbers experience. However, one thing is for sure, there is lots to keep us gamers busy at the moment.

What!?! Another racing simulator that fails to run at a sustained 60fps on either console. PS4 features the better framerate but really, is this is good as cross platform simulators are going to get?

Will be interesting to see, assuming Phil is still at the helm, what kind of successor to the X1 he will champion.

Taken from the Sony website:
"A sleek and compact console with a universe of PlayStation games available to stream and download."

Even Sony position it as a console so you can see why consumers may see it as such. If it had Netflix, supported ALL Vita games and streamed from PS4 in 1080p then you'd have a killer product. As it stands its value proposition is pretty much nil if you dont have a PS4. And based on its sales to date it seems to have a low ...

Its a paid service now so Sony, if they are wanting to be true to their sales mantra, need to invest back into improving it. Either that or they could simply rent cloud services from MS like many other companies do. Why build your own infrastructure when infrastructure already exists. MS cant extort Sony as they are in the same market as the other big cloud service providers (e.g. Google, Amazon) so need to be competitive.

Given their recent layoffs from last years acquisiton of Nokia I'm not sure where they will be taking their W10 platform on mobiles. The Surface is doing well but thats not priced at the general consumer. Lets also not forget their other mobile trainwreck that was the Zune.

To be honest, I would love it if MS had an ace up its sleeve like being able to easily install W10 on Android devices. Pair a controller with a modern tablet and you have a pretty damned good mobile...

This was one of the games that most caught my eye at E3 this year. My kids and I loved the first one so we are looking forward to this.

Take a step back and ask yourself, what's the purpose of articles like this. Its not to act as a concerned voice on behalf of gamers. No, it seems more about discrediting a product.

Hell, lets start discrediting Uncharted 4 because it did not feature deep enough mud in the E3 gameplay, or that it only rendered the visible oranges in the basket when they first stepped out into the marketplace.

What the hell happened to just enjoying games and accepting t...

I know, but i was more a shoot'em up fan than sports game fan. Give my Hybris, Xenon 2 or SWIV any day of the week on Amiga!

This style of game has never done it for me. Even back in the day of the Amiga it was a grind for me to even play Speedball 1 or 2 for even 5 minutes.

However, given its relatively simple gameplay mechanics and solid but not system stressing visuals this would have been an ideal candidate for Morpheus.

Not my kind of game at all. Downloaded for the kids but doubt I'll spend any time with it myself.

I now own GW3 on 3 platforms... Vita, Android and X1. Have to say the Android version on my Galaxy Tab S 8.4 because the colours on the AMOLED display are incredible!

No matter how much a service is up people will predominantly comment on the negative experiences. I still feel that the network is down more often than it should be but it is slowly improving.

At least we have not had to endure the huge outage we had a few years ago when it was down for a month!
