I just love setting things on fire (in games!). Is that just me? =)
Funny thing, I wasn't even interested in other MMO's before I started reading Jeff's summaries. This is just the right size for me, in all honesty.
Good read =)
No way, I am so in love with Japan =) They are so lovely weird. I need to get money to get over to Tokyo =P
No comment on the interview, I love that half naked chick in the picture ;)
PC gaming isn't dead, but I do know that there are some developers that are of this very deranged opinion.
The shame is game developers blaming the fact that their attempts at making a product people are willing to pay for fails on piracy...
DRM isn't exactly the most popular way to go, and there are game developers that basically say "We believe that if you make a good game, people will buy it", They are called Blizzard, and they have created more things than WoW...
Reading your user bio:
"My Goal is to get ignored my as many people as possible without losing my bubbles."
Lol, good one =) Still, you fail at making people ignore you on this one ;)
I think what he meant was that SC2 actually got a date from Activision, and D3 is likely to be released 1-2 years later. Ergo: The "source" is way off. Same conclusion everyone else did, besides Diablo fanbois....
Unsure a noname website can make much of a difference, but for what it's worth, it could be a good idea to take the survey =)
Well, actually, D3 sold in 18,5 million copies, and SC2 in about half that. Still, it's really hard to measure how Korean Baangs do with cash, so the total money from SC might actually have been more, as well as all advertisement on b.net etc to drive people to buy D2 while playing SC1 ;)
Yeah, I mean, they might have gotten 10k pageviews from that, or perhaps even close to twice that, but is the tarnished reputation worth it?
I am just amazed it got a thousand digs on Digg.com O.O
It's with dread and anxiety I look forward to this. Trying out all the new WotLK talents and stuff will be awesome, but I fought to get out of the addiction the first time =P
It's... So... Shiiny.......
Lol, so true, bubble for you!
I think this can be an excellent feature for WoW. Well, if they only make the easy difference that you manually can change between phases you have been. Basically, you could change lots of things, like having Onyxia left in SW in one phase, but when you've done that quest (or other related quests, or are at a certain level) you will be in another phase. Through this system you could actually invade Theramore, burn it to the ground in one quest, while others are doing their regular quests ther...
LOL at title. Man I do remember my childhood and these football games. They seem silly in comparison to what we got today though... =/
So, I haven't followed this too much. They have released a lot of single player stuff then?
Well, I guess they are not as tight lipped as Blizzard about things ;)
Well, in the old days they did one or two slip-ups as well ;)
It might be a fundamental flaw in the game, in which case it might not be possible to get rid of. Perhaps the new Battle.net (Battle.net 2.0 http://www.diii.net/article... will handle that on its own...
I have actually stopped playing, but I'm having one just because I want it =P
I have normal CE, Burning Crusade CE, as well as BlizzCon Murloc suit and WWI Tyrael pet. Going to BlizzCon for the polar bear mount as well.
I might start playing a bit as well, we'll see ;)
