I thought this was several days old? I might be missing something though, never mind me if I'm wrong =)
here anyone who can edit the link to remove the % on the end. It shoulc just be "/1" on the end. The link is dead right now.
I don't agree at all with the review. While I do agree that they should have waited a month before release to make sure all bugs are gone, the game itself is definitely in my taste, and plays great!
.. I wouldn't turn down a free 360 ;)
A big f-ing LOL to all the comments here. Not at anyone, with everyone. There seems to have been some serious build-up of frustrations against gamespot over the years. The fact that people are celebrating their demise over an obvious fake "news item" is newsworthy in itself. This is so funny =D
Edit:
Though critics are right. How can people take N4G seriously with news reporting if this kind of "news" item gets approved and added? It was reported like...
...but hardly true. ;)
The demo itself is really cool, and besides the actual storyline being shown, I think it only brings more attention to it, and the game that you can "hack" yourself more gear. I don't like spoilers, but I don't consider gear in a game to be spoiler, unless it is a purely story related item...
I don't think this will actually hurt EA or the sales in one bit. Rather the opposite. But it is nice, juicy and embarrassing ;D
Edit:
@Genki, perhaps you just lack some Thinking Aluminium ;)

I don't think that this should be available in Second Life specifically, because there is a chance that kids might be there for one reason or another, but for the rest of what you wrote: I can't understand that people would rather have people go nuts and hurt children. As you say, this discussion isn't about children, but *pretending*.
Is there something I am missing? How can *pretending* POSSIBLY be as bad as *doing*? Why isn't the focus on minimizing people (kids) getting hur...
This isn't about kids, at all. If it was about kids, would you think anyone would oppose mobbing up and killing the pervs?
It isn't about kids, it is about adults, and what adults do in a virtual world, with each other. Quite the opposite of what the "specialist" in the clip says, pretending to act out your "dark sides" liberates you from potentially doing it in RL. The violence in movies, comics and video games is a good example, the people that are trench ...

Well, HGL could have needed a tad polish, but 3/5 come on! 4/5 at LEAST!
Heh, it just seems so desperate, rather than anything else.
Bandwidth limit exceeded ;)
And if they added the review from a MMO perspective, that is kind of old fashioned. Its the whole "Diablo is not a RPG" all over again..
As mentioned in the reports, the shipping figures are not the same as sales. Could this be clarified in the editing?
I isn't unlikely that HGL will hit consoles as well, considering that it is mainly built on rather few skills anyway. It isn't like WoW, that has 40+ skills you need to use on occation.
I am a big fan of StarCraft, and SC2 seems to be awesome. I wonder if this feature might be a tad overpowered though. anyone know what the max radius of that tower is?
Is there a video of the whole incident somewhere?
Not that "what, Warcraft?" wasn't bad, but would have been cool to see the whole thing. :)
There has been tonnes of whining on the "buggieness" of the beta, but it seems those people must have been a very vocal minority! Really glad the majority of people seems to think this game is worth buying!
Now, as I AM going to buy it, lets hope they don't fill it with useless DRM crap!
I would say it's odd that it got that grade, is about topless women and still have next to no comments.
Ooh, makes me think of that female Temlpar they had in Playboy...
EDIT:
Found it!
