The Fable games were good if you ignored all the over hype molyneux was spewing out.
Great job quoting out of context, from the full quote it's obvious he is talking about the xbox performance not kinnect,
"Eh - my games perform well enough. I'm playing through (patched) AC:U at the minute and I don't see any issues with performance."
Biggest mistake they made with this game is not delaying it another six months so they could finish and test it, would have had a great launch.
Someone's salty
All these people on this n4g forum hating on the kinect and motion controls will be running out buying the inferior ps eye once Morpheus drops, then the comments on here will change to how much they love motion controls, swings and roundabouts.
Good to see microsoft working on some Kinect games because there is real potential there as technically it is a great piece of kit. Just hope we don't see any more sports related games as it's just not innovative enough this ...
Seems like they would be a good choice for bringing an age of mythology game to the xbox, would be nice to see more RTS games on consoles.
Improved efficiency isn't the only reason for updating a sdk.
Aye, most people that pirate download the game, play for 5 mins then move onto the next thing. One download doesn't equal one lost sale.
Only other game I personally would add to that list is no man sky on ps4 because it does look good even though it's an Indy game made by a handful of people, forza 6 is almost a sure thing for release next year. Will be interesting to see what e3 brings for the holiday lineup of games.
Marketing tactic, forces those on the fence to go for it before the increase and then looks like a good deal when it gets decreased again later on.
This would be the ideal scenario, really hope it happens.
4k at 30fps should be the minimum for next gen, the price of 4k tvs has dropped much quicker than I thought they would.
Pc is leading the way even at the start of this gen and is only going to push further away, ryse and unity on a good spec pc just blows everything that the consoles can do out of the water in terms of graphics. I am really considering getting a good pc for the lounge area this gen.
Monthly subscription, in app purchases or payed dlc every few months that rises the caps. At end of the day they always get your money, just some methods are more obvious than others.
The place where I play most of my indie games is on my ipad, most of them seem to fit so well into that market and style of play.
Was fixed by the time I had finished the four campaigns.
Will probably completely depend on how much Microsoft wants it or not. Also if they cut out the cloud Ai then it will just become a generic first person shooter but if they keep and improve it then it could become very costly in terms of server requirements for them without microsoft backing.
they have just lost 100s of millions of dollars on this film, there's no way to spin this into a win.
One has gone for graphics over gameplay, the other gameplay over graphics and they are very different games. If driveclub didn't look better than forza horizon 2 I would have been shocked as one is open world and the other is not, open world instantly makes it harder to get the best graphics. There's no denying driveclubs graphics are by far the best, but at same time there's no denying that forza horizon 2s gameplay is far far ahead. Now all we need is a game with FH2 gameplay...
I used to really like the tony hawk games but after a while they just became meh, this one will have to be something a bit special to get me interested again.
