So true... I had initially written off so many games from just playing a few levels of it. I have learned that you can't judge a title by it's training levels. Many games start off slow and I am glad that I learned to give games a chance.

I did not agree with really too much of what this author said. Some of his points are assumed and not researched. (Research the number of patches for this game on PS3 versus 360, might be interesting to see who is getting more patches or not?)

I would lean to that same shock. But I haven't played the game and my friend seems to be enjoying his play through on the game... (he LOVES sniping though) and I haven't had the chance to play it so can't add my true 2 cents to it.
Though I heard there was a patch that made the AI more forgiving? Maybe that is why my friend is enjoying it now...??? Or maybe he has no taste..? ha

The answer to the question would be no you don't need HDTV for 3D(as 3D was out long before HDTVs), but if you want a good visual experience then yes and HDTV would be the minimal.
As for Kinetic... I have not purchased it yet but would think my kids would enjoy and think the games are mind blowing in their own rights. Mind blowing is subjective... just ask all the 360/PS3/Wii fanboys. I am amazed at what...
I have been going back and finishing Saints Row... so maybe a bit of shine I am seeing on this game in comparison? ha
But the game DID look fun! The gameplay looked fun, the powers looked enjoyable, the AI characters seemed scripted well. (other then that crappy crowd scene)
The animations can definetly do for some improvement to add some fluidity but overall... I am still wanting to see more of this game.

Regardless... though it is an early view of the mechanics of the game I have now put it on my radar. I don't think prototype nor infamous are comparable to this game. It appears to be more comparable to DC Universe maybe? With the hero creation and all.

Way too early to right off a product before it even hits the market. If I recall they tried to do the same with the Wii and Kinetic. And both of those were VERY premature.
Japan alone will ensure that a Sony product will not be written off. Especially when it comes to portable game play where Japan rules the market.

Also, the 3DS is 3D so it would feed probably put the food directly in your mouth and pick it from any of the bento box slots.

Uhhmmm... I don't think you got his message. I believe he was being facetious.
He didn't actually think that the numbers were undertracked.
Correct that it might look better on the smaller screen. And if I was to code a game for the PS3 or 360 to fit the screen of the NGP then it would look miles ahead of current graphics.
The question (which is probably a mute point due to hearing no compatability coming) is what would the graphics look like when linked from the NGP to a widescreen? Not good at all... and definetly NOT close to the PS3 or 360.

Yes the Blu-ray is a storage format but it also is the medium used to transport information to the CPU/GPU and it does actually hinder the PS3 in its speed of transfer. The NGP with the card should be able to help bypass the issues that Blu-ray brings and possably improve on that portion of what the PS3 has to offer.

What is terrible is that the CoD games actually DO have compelling stories. But I see my friends buy the game and immediately jump online...! Maybe they should come out with 3 versions of the game..? The single story (for lesser price), the multiplayer (for also lesser price)and the compilation pack for true fanboys and let the masses at least get something of the game they enjoy.
