XBox 360 and PS3 are comparibly equal in their capabilities to do what the other has on their system. Each has coding issues and it is the programmer that is ultimately going to be able to do something with what they have to create their masterpiece.
Seeing that PS3 owners don't have that extra cash to buy games I can understand the disparity. Looks like you bought that Hummer and realized you can't afford the gas now.

@calad~ What are you talking about??!!! If they didn't care about the pre-order then they would just offer the demo for free. DUH! Then they would get MORE people to experience the demo!
The ONLY reason that SOny would make it a pre-order option is for revenue!!! No other reason, they are feeding off the hype and hoping it allows them a larger initial draw to the "I need to play it now" mentality that is flooding the game fan world.

The point of this is for Sony to show a higher pre-sale total making the game look even more attractive to the media bean counters.
If you don't care about pumping up the bean count then go ahead and pre-order the game. Most places allow you to switch that pre-order to another game at any time.
So pre-order, get the demo play it. If you like it then keep the pre-order, if you don't then go cancel it and you have a 10 dollar advance on the next game you are going ...

This is what we get from this site all the time. Sensational claims to draw their crowd. Stop pandering to them.
What is up with the article saying.."Did you notice that, nowhere in there, did they say how many of the things they actually sold?" Uhhmmmm... what are you talking about, they said 28 million!!!! And if they are 8 million over PS3 then that would equate to PS3 sitting around the 20 million mark.
I don't know how acurate it is but I haven't seen anyone trying to pull any numbers they counted to discount MS numbers yet.

You beat me to it. Assassins Creed was the factor that threw them back to the drawing board.
But from what I hear it wasn't that Assassins Creed was better in what it did, but that it was alomost duplicate of it. They saw the backlash of what the game was ranted for and realized that SC would need to improve or be lost in the wake of Assassins Creed.
I liked the previous vid's of SC and hope to see a revamped version out in 2009.

I've let this title stew in the back of my mind. Not wanting to hype it up too much. Lucky for us it hasn't gotten too much media buzz on it yet... but the upcoming buzz prior to it's release could over hype the whole deal.
Looking to add it to my list of great games. Hopefully it will have a story that will keep me away from other titles for awhile. And maybe this time a company will look at the atmosphere of the whole game over the thrill of killing some random enemies.

I was sitting in Saudi 2 years ago with 20 people in a conference room and numerous images on display on the projection screen. We all were talking, seeing each other in real time and talking as if everyone from other countries were in our room.
