Another thought. He has no clue what he is talking about when it comes to arrow flight. I have yet to have an arrow not go where I aimed. And I use a LOT of arrows.
And the voice over work. I saw an initial issue too when playing the game and then after about 2hrs into the game it just seemd like the words actually started matching the lips. Not sure if it caught up with the game or what..? But I might have to do a yutube video to show that the voice overs are married to th...
I am thinking Adam really doesn't have a clue here. Though the beginning of the game makes you feel like you are getting yourself into a barely revamped version of the original, the game is actually very good.
I have yet to run across any bugs. I am running the game on the 360 version and use the left trigger button for everything he mentioned for L2. I have no issues what so ever with how my character is controlled by the configuration.
As for the ...
Just got in 15 hrs total so far and I have bumped up my review of the game from a 7/10 to an 8/10. I have came to enjoy everything about this game.
I have most every RPG I can get my hand on and this game is better then most. Though not as deep as Oblivion it is more fun for me... I can't really pin down why??
Must have if you are an RPG fan. And give it some time past it's early learning stage... you will appreciate it for what you can do.
Well at least no one can complain that the reviwers didn't play the game all the way through when they wrote their review.
And I am sure that the person who played it probably was just trying to get to the end. So normal play through would probably at least double that play time. Which is good for a multiplayer focused game.
I still have a version for my Saturn. Bought it in Japan and the manual is Japanese but the game itself is english.
Very fun game...
Recommend anyone that is looking for something new then get this OLD game on PSN. Would be nice If I could get an XBLA version.
The last sentence says it all. Give it your own review number after you play it.
"Two Worlds II offers many, many hours of content and will reward those who hang in through the learning curve, just know what you are getting yourself into."
Wow... look at that mess. Looks like a novel!!!! ^^^^ Should have just took time to write something proper in review form.
I just started the game last night and initial 10 minutes remark is about the only thing the reviewer got correct in his statements.
Yes, I was hating the visual shake elements that threw me back to old school Alien game on my Sega system. It just felt off in a 3rd person view game. (for the life of me I was looking to figure out how to turn it off in the settings)
The background blurring effect that they used was grinding on my nerves. Characters suddenl...
@NateCole
Took a look to see if I could prove your assumption correct. Actually europe as whole is second in market share while japan falls in third. And I am not even counting Canada just U.S..
Maybe you should have lis'd? (laughed in silence)
This guy would probably love a game with mimes in it! (J/K)
That was one word??????
@arika
Actually price for PS2 was likely more comparing the inflation rate and economy. It was NOT a cheap device.
Two things that will more then likely never change.
1. 360 will never have a larger market share then PS3 in Japan.
2. PS3 will never have a larger market share then 360 in U.S.. (though PS3 has a better hold in U.S. due to the society being more open to outside country interests... Japan not so much)
Two different markets that companies fight over the most. And with the MUCH larger percentage of market that PS3 has over 360 in Japan yo...
@godmars290
Why didn't you reference the 23 million it is ahead of the PS3? Or does that have no correlation to it's popularity that it out sales it's own company current console.
Oh yea... now I remember, because comparing apples to oranges leads to fruit salad.
Handheld versus console market. Why not compare PS3 and 360 to PCs owned? Oh... because they are different too.
In the end the PSP was "th...
Well just a few that would have been on my list, and again clarification I just put was MY list. (as they should have clarified their list maybe):
The Dishwasher, Stacking, Alien Hominid HD, Winterbottom and I thought Breach was much better then Monday Night Combat.
Just a few that were quality in my eyes.
(note: of course each and every game on these types of lists can be picked apart for many reasons due to personal intrests)
Take out Bionic Commando, Pacman, Monday Night Combat, and Battlefield 1943 and the list is pretty good.
"Must Own" should never be used in an article without clarifications. A lot of other contenders out there that would have deserved better recognition.
I almost fell asleep during that article. He was talking way too much.
My mother passed away from Cancer. And I will probably get the download for my daughter.
As for the person who disagreed with your statement that everyone should purchase the DLC. Well they could be voicing their opinion that DLC is ultimately evil, or that they don't think the game itself is worth it's money and thus DLC would be a mute point? I don't know... but to call out your detractors in such a way has always seemed to me to be juvenille.
I would recommend two things for this site. Don't use italic script with that type, hard to the eyes.
Secondly... unless you are dedicated to a single console then don't use a console exclusive wallpaper as your back drop. Instant alienation of competing fans. Actually even if you are dedicated to a single console don't do it... it makes you look tacky.
Other then that the articles on this site aren't that bad. (minus that horrific logo)
Parental failure...
No different then allowing your kid to search the internet without being monitored.
MS has a complete system setup so that the parent can properly restrict their childs online and offline gaming.
