Get over yourself... simple fact is that Sony, and all the little Fanboys that follow it's lead, hype the hype just to try and get attention and then it backfires. And you never learn. You just keep coming back with the... "but the games aren't that bad..." story. They AREN"T that bad, but they also don't come close to what the fanboys claim, in actual game play or sales interest.

The article basicly just harps on a comment made back in 2006? Why again is this news worthy? We know PS3 is not doing as good as Sony predicted but this article is rather lame. But don't expect much from the WSJ.

Each of the games I mentioned are ok games in their own right. But NONE are earth shattering console selling games. None have lived up to the hype that they generated. None are expected to resonate in the minds of people years from now.
Killzone was hyped equally in how Killzone 2 is now being hyped. I highly doubt that Killzone 2 will falter in the same way as it's predecessor but it does have more ...

Read the patent people. The charge will be no different then what internet cafes do now. It includes the use of the computer, software, connection... everything you need to get on line. It is basically just a stand alone system that can be quickly mass produced and setup through out the world. Allowing Microsoft Internet Cafes with an easy drop in hardware source. What's so new...? The direct nature of the software/hardware use for fee transfer.

I would say that Shadow followed the original POP series more so then the other way around.
Shadow itself felt like it had similarities to many other titles. To say that the last installment copied Shadow because of similar features over the same similar features of it's own previous games is just seeking confirmation where it doesn't exist.
