Nail'd it... that guy was just terrible. First time playing an FPS or what?

He is the kind of guy I always get stuck with on my team.

Exactly... I don't think I have bought a single game because of a demo. I have only been turned away from a game once playing the demo. Note: Last memorable demo that caused me not to buy the game was Dragon Age 2.

It is basically the "We have the right to refuse service to anyone" sign that you see in convenience stores.

Microsoft doesn't allow anyone outside of them to take away Achievements so no issue there. Basically the only thing they could do is deny access to online servers for their games. Banning of complete system across all EA titles seems interesting and contestable in some states. Depending on how they have their service agreement tied to each independent t...

"Abuse or exploit bugs, undocumented features, design errors or problems in the game." - So spawn camping will be banned? Seeing that it is an obvious abuse of design error. j/k

What no Uwe Boll? j/k http://www.irishtimes.com/b...

As for this list... just awful choices.
Tony Scott? Are you kidding? He has nothing to bring to this franchise. Nothing.

John McTiernan? Like we need an 80s/90s feel to the franchise? His movies were ok in the time but don't stack up in todays filming level.

José Padilha? Eli...

I play CoD quite a bit. And don't play PC games at all. So how are you getting that I am a PC fan and CoD hater?

But back on point, (and nothing to do with your small brain) this author is just another blogger that doesn't get the point of CoD. Calling it out for not reaching beyond what it's die hard fans are asking/playing it for. I for one enjoy the campaign of each and every CoD game in the series. The multiplayer has changed just enough to keep the fans comin...

Again, think about the ad and why they would use this premise to advertise cross game chat? It has no correlation to any CHAT function in it's advertising.

If it was a bar or chat room then you would more then likely see that highlighted versus the premise of game characters checking into an establishment which is what we actually saw.

A chat ad would likely hit more on interaction with characters themselves or others. Nothing in this ad represents commu...

Why would it be any of those features with this type of advertising?

Obviously the building looks like some form of lodging or underground event house.

Likely that the previous posters are correct in the Relaunch of Home. Or something more in line with that thought. Cloud based service wouldn't be too far off the mark either considering the ad campaign premise.

After your last PM to me about not knowing sh@t, I figured I would check where you have been when not bothering me with your PM rants about why you think PCs can't handle PS3 games. (still making me laugh to this day... lol)

Thought you needed the help. Appears, I was right.

(kid...? you are funny)

Well I am not into Anime and am far from being Japanese... but at least I have lived there a large portion of my life and experienced it first hand.

Not too difficult to see the obvious things that Microsoft japan are missing. Just wonder why Microsoft themselves don't see it?

What is Weeaboo is Microsoft Japan that thinks they knows what the market wants. Obviously they don't.

You know I just don't agree with that thought. I lived in Japan and had many Japanese friends and when they came over or we met online then they more often or not wanted to play a shooter. Japanese love things they can't get in Japan. They are curious about the Hollywood gunplay in movies and in video games.

Japanese gamers are some of the best team skilled players that I have came across when playing Tom Clancy titles. The main problem with shooters in Japan is they...

We don't actually expect you to understand much after some of your posts, reasoning isn't your forte.

Let me answer your concerns in the premise of video games as we are on N4G.

Mindless fun, basically the enjoyment of a game without the need for involving a lot of thought into playing the game. A few examples for you: http://www.freeflashgamearc...

"Gears is an IP that appeal to the core 18-35 year old male demographic...so what does Microsoft Japan do? Well, they take the super obvious route of hiring a "music" act that appeals to preteen-teenage girls." - the problem with Microsoft Japan is that they simply have no clue!!! What they need to do is go for the sex sales ploy. Get some popular bold stars to advertise or at the least get someone like Saki Seto to promote it. Or maybe Tatsuya Fujiwara to make an appearan...

Wow... to be blunt, butt hurt much?

I must be one lucky mofo because I have rarely ran into any glitches when playing Bethesda games compared to some other RPG titles. I don't think I ran into a single quest issue when playing through Oblivion. I have heard that others have had issues but I just didn't see the issues myself when playing through. Did you play through on the PC, PS3 or Xbox 360?

I was not hyping the chicken or story manager... just sta...

Whoa... is this the complete walk through of the Gears 3 campaign? Definitely spoiler material but for those that don't own an Xbox 360 then you can at least see the story and gameplay on your own.

@kingdoms

Just doing a quick review of Jelly Jelly's previous comment history shows that he isn't a PS3Fanboy, he is an Xbox 360 user. Try looking before you leap next time.

I think the ads were aimed at the story line theme of annihilation of a society and it's people and seeing them as personal moments lost versus the games heavy gunplay.

Whatever the reason it seemed to do wonders for the ad campaign, and who ever thought it up should have gotten a raise.

Glad they didn't choose to just have some used car salesman looking ad guy hawk the game in front of fake pretense of being a humorous fictitious department head or s...
