@Armyofdarkness
So you are saying that MS should have done the same when Epic chose to make Bulletstorm multiplatform and just forget about Gears 3? Your thoughts that Sony just gave up on advertising for RES3 because Insomniac Games chose to go multiplat is just stupid in a business sense.
Well no. Console players also just have only one character per gamertag. The slots showing available on battleLog are for multiple accounts from PC, PS3 and/or Xbox 360. Meaning basically you could have one character associated per each system.
I would like to see some area specific damage to bodies.
If I get hit in the leg then it should slow me down.(until health kicks in of course)
Shoot me in the arm and maybe my accuracy is lower?
Hit me in the chest and it should slow me down and effect my accuracy.
Hit me in the head... well that should be 1 hit shot 1 kill.
I didn't mind it so much. But I did find it some what of an issue sometimes when spawning into an area to determine which direction was north, south or basically where was the enemy coming from on defense. Especially in the tunnels.
I know they had little green and red boxes that showed spawn points but that didn't assist much in most areas.
"If you care more about saving $10 than you do about playing an awesome game, what does that say about how much you love videogames in general? If you're going to let a few bucks come between a you and a game you want to play, are you really a "gamer"?"
So by the above statement in the article I shouldn't complain if say a company just decides to make all their game cost $10 more? It's just a few bucks right? Wrong! When you are talking about o...
Yep... that MGS4 was one crazy movie.
You say you own both and then go and make a remark of "Must be something appealing about 360 though....", what made YOU buy it?
@jp_footy2
It is quite the opposite in marketing in NA. Sony makes the ads stating that it does everything and you don't need anything else. MS basically sells their games with some advertising style that works for NA. The only Sony Ad that I think has been produced that has been good for Sony and NA was the latest one with the...
Because servers cost money. And yet EA has some of the worst servers I have come across. Even now wanting to jump back into some BFBC 2 after the BF# Beta is over... but the servers are all showing down for me. Reports are that other gmes are having similar issues.
So if you buy that $10 cost for access to the servers they still have that clause were they have the right to shut the servers down whenever they want. And EA is bad at keeping servers running for their games past...
I didn't really notice the issue. I would have people spawning on a radio and just keep plugging away at them. They did the same to me. As soon as I spawned I would be nailed from a shot. So not seeing where there was an invulnerability myself?
Yes... I can't wait to have my co-op buddy assisting me with the planet mining! While I go off and do something to pass the time. Call me when you are done. :)
The list is a joke for the most part. The order of the choices they even made are whacked. Plant's vs Zombies at 3, even being on this list is stupid!
And why only the PC version of Dead Space 2? And they weren't zombies any way.
Why not Left 4 Dead 1? Or Dead Rising 1?
Only 5 of these titles actually belong on the list.
10 The House of the Dead: Overkill (PS3, Wii)
9 Dead Rising 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
The link that you supplied said nothing of which version was better. I just commented on the fact that the author preferred the Xbox 360 version after playing both.
So if they did then it appears that the author preferred the Xbox 360. Simple as that.
But the question is if he played both versions then why would they not have the textures installed on the PS3 version? And if they did have the textures loaded then he has already identified Xbox 360 as looking better.
Let me quote the article again. Why are people here if they don't read it...?
"We went hands-on with both versions of the game yesterday, and in terms of visuals, the Xbox 360 version certainly took the edge over the PS3 version."
"We went hands-on with both versions of the game yesterday, and in terms of visuals, the Xbox 360 version certainly took the edge over the PS3 version." - looks like the author of the article thought different after playing both versions of the game.
Oh well... potatoes... potatoes. Hhmmmmm... it doesn't sound any different when read? :P
A big difference between people who take advantage of glitches in the Beta and the cheaters that are being reported in the forum. the cheaters are those that are getting instant spawn kills without even shooting. Aimbotting, and revolver sniping from across the map. Also, a few have been able to make themselves invulnerable and or even able to walk through all walls.
So many PC players(hackers) are really taken advantage of the game. Haven't seen the manipulation on the ...
I agree Kleptic... the BEST public Beta I have been through was the Halo 3 Beta. It went through a great Alpha phase and by the time Bungie got the Beta to us it was basically a REAL server test. With Beta really just about leveling of weapons and such. Glitches were VERY RARE if any for most.
Bungie knows their sh@t because their Reach Beta was excellent too.
Some companies need to think before they supply people Betas. EA isn't very intelligent in my e...
I disagree with the more health thing. Current health is plenty. And as Kleptic pointed out you might just have low health and not realize it when you are getting shot the next time. Also the single shot kills are a slight issue.
It is similar to the PC but not for the reasons that you mentioned. It is the architecture and coding/development tools that shows it's PC roots.
