I am so tired of SPAM on N4G. Why don't they just delete the accounts of spammers after reporting?
But on topic... here we go with another review that has a negative feel to it. People looking for those hits.
Looks like a fun title. I like the artistic style of the characters. And the weapons appear to have a unique appeal to them.
@JellyJelly
"What I gathered from this review is that if you hate shooters in general there's a fair chance you won't appreciate Gears of War 3 either."... but that is in direct contrast to the authors point of view as he likes shooters. He just doesn't like shooters that don't shoot the way he wants maybe?
And good point of the Skyrim/Dark Souls reference. (except the author has touched the Gears series before and is already blatant...
I didn't say that it had to be someone that liked the game. I said "someone who likes this type of game". The author hasn't liked the game type of Gears basically since the first game. And I say that based off the references in this review on style and play of Gear 3 in general and gameplay in comparison to other Gears games.
So obviously if the gameplay hasn't changed then he won't like this title, and he clarifies that with his if you are a fan st...
Basically just a guy that hasn't been fond of the series from the first game, spilling how he still doesn't like the controls or how the game feels to him. Just an idea, review the game from someone who likes this type of game instead of someone who really doesn't. As he states, if you are a fan of this series then you will enjoy it if you haven't been a fan then you might just pass on it.
Weak synopsis of his review... basically pinpointing only the parts th...
More like a fart in sales. It is fading away again to drop out next week more then likely. But this is UK charts... what can you say...? They like their Zumba and F1 racing games.
Surpasses.
Edit: and yes I know I am just asking for the Fanboys to jump in. But it is my observation that they have surpassed GT5.
I am familiar with some of the art work on a few of those cars. And of those cars I am aware of they are not pre-rendered pictures.
I can not validate all the pictures though. Just the ones that I know of who created the artwork pictured.
Looks like some people have already made some fantastic in game paint jobs for their rides! I have always been impressed with the ability of the community to make life like pictures on their vehicles. I have not seen anything like this on anything but Forza. Something that artists really flock to.
If you don't like the look of your ride it is possible, depending completely on your creative level, to make your ride pimped to the hilt.
Jade Empire would open a new level to the current generation systems for Bioware. ME 1,2 & 3 are great (and going to be great ME3) but I would like to see Jade Empire's world come to the next generation system.
I have played the Xbox game Jade Empire on my Xbox 360 but want to see some love for next generation graphics.
To the reference of KOTOR coming to this generation systems, this would be nice but I would like to see a complete set with the addi...
Yes, I see that you said prior to Red Dead Redemption and not Revolver. Just pointing out time frames and that Revolver and Gun already had similar reference to each other.
And that your post simply implied that Gun shouldn't be thought of as a cash in was because it came out prior to Redemption... I was pointing out that the series of Red Dead began with Revolver which was before Gun. Nothing personal.
Actually Red Dead Revolver came out prior to Gun in 2004, while Gun came out in 2005.
Red Dead Redemption was just a spiritual successor to 2004's Red Dead Revolver.
At the time people commented on Gun playing off of Red Dead Revolver's style. Both games had mixed reviews with critics. Gun did well being an early game in the launch of Xbox 360.
Full body art on pale skin can actually look good if done correctly.
Is this tattoo on the inside of his bicep? About as bad as a girl getting a tramp stamp.
Makes me feel better about my Virtual Boy brand tattoo. j/k
It was a fun game but got eclipsed by the Red Dead Series.
Anyone got a way to explain to him simple logic? Here is his PM to me again. Not sure how deep his brainwashing is? He seems to think exclusive means it can't be made to play on any other system.

Re: so you tell me why arent ps3 exclusives on ps3

I just want them to add an animation so you can pick the chickens up by their necks and carry them around with you.
I want to see my character running through the streets with his chicken held out in front of him, while the ladies are screaming as he is running by... "AIeeee... that man is choking his chicken!"
I like just stripping down and streaking through town. When my character in Oblivion got massive powerful at the end, I sometimes just ran around killing enemies in the buff. Made it feel like more of a challenge. And oddly it was very freeing when people were annoyed by my underwear antics.
I would think it would be the opposite. They would probably look up to you like Robin hood? Dropping coins and gems at the feet of beggars. I would really doubt that would have a negative reaction.
Just like the absorbing of a Dragon's Soul in town would I think give you more renown?
The type of gamers that are into Rage type games will have an HDD. I would estimate that approx. 95% of gamers that would buy Rage would have HDDs. Only a small fraction of Gamers don't have an HDD. Yes many non-HDD systems have been sold. But the vast majority of those have since purchased an HDD.
No HDD Xbox 360 owners would equate to about the number of non-hardcore gamers. Non-hardcore gamers aren't the market for Rage sales.
