The Xbox 360 is not married to HD-DVD folks. If HD-DVD does not succeed they can always put out a Blu-ray player for it. Seriously. I thought that was one of the better ideas in their design. They weren't forcing a format.

I've noticed that the car models in Forza 2 do not appear as complex as those in the GTHD demo. I believe the reason for this is that the models have to be deformable for the damage system. I'm not sure this is why but it is my belief.
If a girl needs a video game to get her guy to get intimate, she may want to re-evaluate the relationship.

Sony has more experience when it comes to putting electronics together. They've got one generation of console experience more than Microsoft. The PS3 storage system can handle more data stored on a disc so textures do not need to be compressed.
Even if a game was a port of an Xbox 360 game or the game was developed in concert for all consoles, I would expect the PS3 version to have far superior graphics to the Xbox 360.

I mean the console came out an entire year later. In the terms of technology, that's a hell of a long time.
If I were Sony. I'd frankly be embarrassed if any game came out on the Xbox 360 that looked or performed better than any game on the PS3 in any way shape or form.
My friend is a manager at EB Games and there isn't even a SKU for it yet...
So you pay a boat load of cash for a PS3 so that other people can use it? I understand the whole altruistic deal but really. Why does it matter to me whether my Xbox 360 had better use for other people than me?

Sad. I've met a lot of people who complain about DRM but probably 95% of them are also the people who pirate movies and music. These companies do have a point.
I suppose this upgrade was really only aimed at the US population anyway. For us Canadian's (other than the black) there's no reason to get the larger hard drive. The only reason to get it would be for downloading the Hi-Def Movie/TV content and they're not getting it out to us.
I don't know about the rest of the world but I'm thinking it's only for the US.
