We're actually lucky they're only $60! They were that price in the SNES days, with some games being even MORE. When SF2 first dropped, it was $74.99! And its even more if you adjust for inflation.
Considering that games are far more substantial nowadays $60 is a good sweet spot. And games get cheaper a lot faster than they used to as well. Sure we'd like everything to be cheaper, but Im not complaining.

Real nice to hear someone like Kojima praise Natal. Why so many people hate on something that hasnt even come out yet is just incredible.
I for one think it has an tremendous amount of promise. Natal actually made me re-think how they may go ahead with products in the future. all of the touchscreens are nice, but just using gestures? I would love to see this tech used all over the place.

Honestly, both games look simply amazing. Seriously. The fact is no two studios are going to go about building a game the same way, so at this point it comes down to which you personally think looks better.
I havent played GT5, but I can say that Forza DOES hav some of the tightest control I have ever felt in a racer, especially a sim racer. Cant wait to go download the demo tonight.

Thats a pretty big difference if you ask me. That sharpness really makes a diff when you have a HD set, especially 1080p.

That deal would have some far-ranging implications, Im sure. Its not like games are developed overnight, so I doubt anything slated for release on any competing console would get squashed, but after a couple of years who knows?
The move wouldnt surprise me too much, MS is a SW company. By controlling EA, they could do a number of things. Obviously they would make money off of any EA game sold, even for the PS3 or Wii...but it could be a move in consolidating the industry, and ...
Cheaters suck no matter what the game. Its really pathetic to have to cheat to win at a video game. Thats just for fun.
I mean really, you cheat why? To get better stats? But those stats are meaningless if youre a cheater. If you ever tried to go to a legitamate competition with guys that actually earned their stripes, you'll get pwned.

My congrats and thanks go to Bungie yet again. I played about 1.5-2 hrs of the campaign so far, and it is brilliant. The music alone makes this game awesome! Played some firefight with some friends and literally laughed my ass off all night headshotting grunts with the confetti turned on.

This one was a bit overlooked I felt. I played it on 360 (identical to PS3) and thought it was a beautiful game.
People get so hung up over graphics, and what constitutes good graphics, but this game is one of the prettiest yet. Technically, yes, but the art in this game feels like it was all painstakingly created. It truly astounds.

Looks real good. Im a big fan of God of War, and while this certainly is inspired by it, an homage if you will, it looks great in its own right.
The similarities to GoW are going to be endlessly harped upon though. I hope for this games' sake it delivers.
This is getting tough. Dante's, GoW 3, Bayonetta, Brutal Legend...even Darkseiders doesnt look too bad. But all of the upcoming action games look really good.
