Just finished the campaign last night, and it was a blast. Whats funny, is some of my favorite moments were right after a flashback, when th music would come on, and its just this desolate and lonely feeling afterward. Halo just knows how to do tone and feeling in a game without hitting you over the head with it.

Its just part of the design. In Halo, whenever you move the stick all the way up, thats supposed to be running. The ODST are slower than the Chief of course, and their armor/weapons are supposed to weight them down a bit. But that doesnt mean they couldnt of allowed for quick sprints (like Half-Life 2).
I remember before Halo 2 came out, they said they would have Master Chief sprint but that he wouldn't be able to shoot while sprinting, but the idea was nixed. I guess it didn...

You know, even with the translation issues, I could read through most of this review, and I would say the author made a pretty good case for himself. This is a Norwegian site that has no interest in getting us to look at their reviews. And it isnt some blogsite with zero credibility.
Now does that mean I agree with him? probably not, since Im sure I would rate this game higher based on what Ive heard and from playing through the first one...
The browser on the PS3 is just painful to use. I used to only use it to watch Hulu, which is now blocked, but even when it wasnt it felt like a crapshoot to see if it would work or not.
Its good its there I suppose, but I dont see it as a big feature or anything. Thats what my Mac is for.
But I will say that being able to go to the PS3 custom theme websites and download them right from the PS3 browser is nice.

I couldnt play this game, but I saw the guy at the booth demo it about 20 times! I have to say, you really gotta see this game in action, it is amazing. While it looks good in screenshots here, it looks excellent in motion.

Have weird updating issues with the Wii? For me, the updates work fine, but they seem to take FOREVER sometimes. The Wii will be blinking like some kinda drunk disco light for what seems like days on end (which since moving the Wii into the bedroom, woke up the gf who in turn woke me up at 3am yelling to turn off the Wii!). And my WiFi reaches speeds of 10MBit all the time, so I dont know why it would be so slow.

This game is amazing. Best looking racer ever, which is why the trolls are in such a frenzy. But beyond the looks, the game plays flawlessly.
I really dont think many people in here know what graphics are if they think WipeOut HD looks better. Maybe in art design if thats your thing, and I love WipeOut HD and own it, been playing since XL on PS1. But you crazy if you think WipeOut has better graphics than even GRID.
