Saw cod:ww2 & spider-man on plus and decided not to even bother.
I've been going through the reddit post and the popular opinion is that something in the patch trips itself up and so the game has rolled back to its original 1.0 version. Before pro and X support
And all for clicks. Shameful.
I think all this from Microsoft is wonderful. However it highlights just how important quality 1st party content is. Even with Xbox doing all those great consumer friendly things, most people are still with Sony. They are still there because they don't want to miss the amazing 1st party content they know will come. It's the biggest safe bet in gaming and it's such a draw that people are willing to accept not having game pass, decent BC or the most powerful specs.
To comba...
I preferred Arthur.
It's not pro consumer to cut away and force people to buy a new console. It's not a nice thing to do.
Its completely necessary though if we want games that are innovative and fresh.
It probably will hold things back some but I can't complain because it lets me buy a ps5 knowing that I can still play X exclusives on my xb1x.
FACT: I've never seen a product with so little marketing create such hype.
Just what I'd expect them to say tbh. But at this point any release date will be fluid anyway. They'll want room to manoeuvre and react to Microsoft's plans. (And vice versa).
I'd like a last of us 2 one as well.
Powerful hardware hamstrung by current gen consoles is what We'll get.
For example, 345 craft a scene where Chief fights with a team of 10 AI Spartans he's met during the course of the story. If the Xbox One can't do 10 Spartans at one the scene gets cut or chief suddenly meets less Spartans.
Terrible strategy from Microsoft. They just want yo keep Xbox one money and don't care how if impacts game creation going forward.
Perfect Dark 😉.
It will be whatever Sony price the PS5. 100%.
Edit: well 75% at least. They may want to go cheaper but DEFINITELY not more.
Just ignore it. It's not worth your time.
May just refer to Crysis? Didn't EA publish those?
I'll have some of what he's smoking.
All sounds better than e3 tbh.
For Soundblaster it was a selling point of their high-end sound cards
I wondered if this would be the case. I remember soundcard in the 90's, you'd get extra performance from having one In your rig because the cpu wasn't needed for sound processing.
It is exactly what they are going to do. Phil Spencer Evan admitted so in an interview earlier this year.
