There was a beautiful moment yesterday when I was in a forum on N4g discussing Fallout 4 right after Bethesda's E3 showing. Everyone was in awe, nobody was whining about anything and nobody was arguing about completely insignificant differences from console to console or pc. That happened. It was nice while it lasted.

I can't recall the last time I was so floored by a game presentation. I swear I almost cried. They kinda took all the pressure off E3 being great, because even if everything else sucks... Fallout is coming.

More Fallout news, hopefully Mass Effect gameplay, Dark Souls 3, God of War, Metal Gear Solid, Zelda, Halo...these are some of my favorite franchises of the last 20 years. I hope to see a lot of big surprises and a lot more info (especially on the Sony front), but as far as I can remember, the list of (mostly) confirmed legendary games is unprecedented. It'd seem a little unlikely that I will disappointed. **Side note...am I the only one that wouldn't mind a new Burnout and Fight Nigh...

For the record, I think Bloodborne is among the best games I've played this generation. I just want the two franchises to remain their own separate things. Honestly, my biggest complaint about Bloodborne is that there wasn't much room for personalization. One of my favorite things about Dark Souls is that giant wall of stats, and endless ways to level up your character. Bloodborne was barely an RPG. To me it felt closer to something like God of War from a leveling perspective. That, ...

I really really liked Bloodborne and would definitely play another one, but playing Scholar of the First Sin directly after made me realize that I highly prefer Dark Souls to Bloodborne. I sincerely hope they don't screw with the formula too much. I would love to see more from From Software outside of the Souls series, but, hypothetically, if DS3 was more like Bloodborne than Dark Souls, I would be heartbroken and consider it a step backwards in virtually every regard.

Fallout, Witcher, Souls, Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Metal Gear, GTA, Mario and Zelda are as close as video games get to perfection in my book. Of course, none of them are perfect, but I would have, at various times in my life, proclaimed any of them the greatest game ever. Each time a new entry comes along, everything else in my life becomes secondary for awhile. I don't think I could objectively say which is the best. (Yes, I'm aware that these aren't all open world ...

I would really like to see something Ni No Kuni related as well. If Morpheus support means that I have to wait until 2016 for No Man's Sky, that would kind of upsetting though. I'm very, very interested in seeing what is going on with Guerilla's RPG.

I want all of these things to happen, but a couple months back, there were some rumors of a Ni No Kuni sequel...that or something in that universe would be quite interesting.

Ni no Kuni would have made a good vita game. But more than anything, I want something like Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics...Disgaea doesn't quite cut it for me personally. I hear Banner Saga might be coming later this year. Also, I'd really like to see a game in the vein of Civilization or Endless Legend. Maybe Hearthstone...or something like it. More strategy stuff...less monster hunter clones. The vitas controls seem perfect for these kinds of games. Rather the Killzone Merc/U...

Trophies definitely add to my enjoyment of games on Playstation systems. I don't have a single platinum trophy, and I play way too many games to ever be a trophy hunter, but I like getting them. The bigger issue for me, however, is that I can't enjoy playing games on my PC that I know will be coming to PS4 in the future. Planetside 2 and Shovel Knight are two current examples of this. I know that is due to wanting trophies for my time. Same thing will probably apply to XBox console ex...

I played the early access on Steam, and I can say, if you are into card games, you should definitely check this out. I'll be buying this one tomorrow. Now I just need Darkest Dungeon and Shovel Knight on PS4 asap.

Couldn't be happier with this. Not to mention, BF4 Premium Pass just went on a huge sale right before I was about to drop $50 on it. I hoping to see Shovel Knight and Killzone on here soon. Back to pressing "survivor sense" every time I want to jump on Dying Light. GREAT game so far, but why can't I map jump to "x"!?

Are PS4 games region locked? A splitscreen-arcadey dark souls sounds amazing on paper. I have unreasonably high hopes for this one.

Agreed, I was just talking with co-workers today, and five us are planning on picking this up day one for console release now that there aren't monthly fees. To be honest, I don't even really mind microtransactions, dlc and free to play (within reason), I get it, but I will never pay a monthly fee to play any one game.

Half of my top 10 Games for 2014 were indies. Binding of Isaac:rebirth, Velocity 2x, Shovel Knight, Transistor, Crypt of the NecroDancer, Divinity:Original Sin, Rogue Legacy, Risk of Rain, Nidhogg, and Towerfall Ascension, were all; in my (unpopular) opinion were more fun than nearly all AAA games released last year. Of course, it was a pretty terrible year for AAA games overall.

I actually got The Evil Within due to positive reviews. I like the gore, but I honestly think it is a pretty terrible game, for all the reasons that other commenters here have already pointed out. It does remind me of Resident Evil 4, but only in the way that the game feels like it came out in 2005. I just went back to playing Destiny and Alien, which are two games that reviews almost talked me out of getting. So it does feel like the reviews are a little off for this console generation so f...

That sounds misinformed. Nintendo is the only one that does seem to be happy rehashing the same games. PS4 and X1 have a ton of new IP's in the next year or so. What about No Man's Sky, The Wild, AbZu, The Order, Bloodborne, Rime, The Tomorrow Children, Lords of the Fallen, The Crew, DriveClub, Evolve, The Evil Within, Sunset Overdrive, Scalebound, Dying Light, Until Dawn, Let It Die, Shadow of Mordor, Battleborn, Kingdom Come, Everyone's Gone to the Rapture...that's just off ...

Out of my friends, I think I am the only one that actually pays attention to gaming news and reviews. Since Destiny released we have been talking about it almost every day, today I brought up the fact that the internet has been pretty cruel to Destiny, everyone was surprised. Out of the 20 or so people I know playing, I haven't heard anyone say anything negative about the game at all. Game review sites almost talked me out of buying what has been arguably the most fun game I have played t...

I have a pc that can play almost any game on max settings, and can output to my tv so I can play from the couch, I game on it all the time. But despite all of that, I still prefer to play on consoles. This is purely opinion, but at least %60 of my favorite games in the last five years were exclusive to Sony, Nintendo or Microsoft. This is not to say that there aren't some absolutely amazing PC exclusive games, (Divinity: Original Sin is my current obsession) but overall, if I had to pick ...
