I would %100 buy the "Blue Earth," and "Cartography" themes. Maybe the "lightstream," on as well. I've been pretty curious as to how you get "hired" by sony to make these themes. I'm glad somebody is finally making some decent ones though.
I wish they would use the second screen function as well, but I'm happy that they are thinking about vita at all tbh. Using VATS, this game might even be functional(ish) on Vita! Also, totally agree on the Fallout 1 & 2 ports to vita.
Yes. I love trophies. I love them too much. I am ashamed to admit that not earning trophies actually detracts from my overall sense of enjoyment while playing on other consoles/mobile/pc. *I know Steam has achievements, but they never felt as rewarding as they do on console. I'm old enough to where the majority of my gaming time was still spent prior to their existence, gaming is it's own reward, which is exactly why trophies/achievements are still great, because it's like a game ...
These are good reasons not to buy any video game on release date. But this is not just any video game to me. This is actually the first game I have preordered before reviews this console gen.
I fully expect that there will be bugs and glitches. It's possible my save may delete itself 30 hours it. It's part of the charm.
I am quite pleased that mods will be delayed. Sounds like a great reason start the game all over.
GOTY Edition? Y...
So far this gen, exclusives have mattered less than ever. But Bloodborne, Until Dawn, Disgaea 5, Transistor, Resogun and Rocket League are all considerably more interesting than any one exclusive the xbox one has. Looking forward, Quantum Break, Cuphead, and that new Rare game have my attention, I would love to own an Xbox as well, but given I can't justify owning 2 consoles right now, I can't imagine how anyone in their right mind would choose that over Horizon, No Man's Sky, Dre...
I came to the comments just to express my discontent for the fact that Ni No Kuni still isn't on the list. Add that and Metal Gear 4, and Red Dead.
Same here, I looked at the perks, and have been trying to plan a build. I've seen some screenshots. But no videos and no spoilers from now until release. I find myself getting nervous that the world won't be as interesting to explore, that there won't be the same "anything goes" vibe to it. But I won't be able to find that information without encountering things I don't want to know. Regardless, FO4 is the first game I have pre-ordered this console generation. I ...
These screenshots look fantastic...I'm almost skeptical that they are real, and from a PS4 console. I was content with the screenshots that surfaced earlier today, but if this is what I can expect on PS4 that is just icing on the cake. I really wish I could lower my enthusiasm for Fallout 4. The wait is making me crazy! I'm not the kind of guy that gets too excitable about much of anything, but I haven't been looking forward to something so much for a long time. I will be almost a...
I have never played a Moba before...I had a lot of trouble figuring out where to go to complete objectives in the "story mode." Also, I couldn't find anyone to play with. That said, I think this game has a lot of potential, it seems like it could be pretty fun when everything starts to click into place.
Have they said if this will be VR? Like everyone else, I'm still not sure exactly what "Dreams" is, but can you imagine creating a painting/animation while being able to stand inside of it, filling in the ground below you and the sky above? What about in co-op? That would sell systems for people like me. I'm sure I'm hoping for too much. Still, just the fact that someone is out there trying to make a game like this is very exciting.
I personally know at least 15 people that played Dark Souls 2 to the end, and not a single one of them would have called it a disappointment. It was an amazing game that improved on the original in a lot of ways. I always compare it to Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Yes technically Fallout 3 was a better game, but New Vegas was more fun. The same principle, in my opinion, applies to Dark Souls. The first Dark Souls game was my all-time favorite game, (off-topic, FO3 is easily top 5 for me).

"Because of the character of Bloodborne’s gameplay, its battle style, as well as the role-playing elements, it’s limited compared to the Dark Souls franchise," he explains. "It doesn’t necessarily mean Bloodborne was bad. However, while working on [it] I realised, I want to [create] something which has a wide range of battle styles, or features magic, or those things which allow players to wear awesome armour. Those elements are what actually made me come [back] to the Dark Sou...
I bought a PS4 the month after they showed The Wild, No Man's Sky, Rime, Abzu, Starbound and The Tomorrow Children for the first time. Until then I didn't think I would get a "next-gen" console. That was quite a while ago, and as of now we still don't really know when any of those are being released. I've never really been bored with my PS4, and there have been some great games, but l'm so ready to play this handful of games that sold me on the system to begin wi...
This is one the few games I would actually like to see remastered for next-gen. Better yet a sequel, or the MMO coming to the states, or they could just release "Deep Down."
I am completely addicted to Metal Gear right now, it is an instant classic. But I still think Witcher 3 is GOTY so far. I sincerely hope that Fallout 4 is as good or better than these two though. It's been a long time since I've been so hyped about a game though...so I hope that doesn't lead to me being let down too much.
Dark Souls is my all-time favorite video game and I am a Sony diehard, but I think Bloodborne is only about the 4th or 5th best game of the yea...
No Cave Story? I would argue that that it belongs at the top of this list.
I will buy it day one, no question. Souls games are my favorite of all-time. But I am very saddened by how much Bloodborne has influenced DS3. I liked it for what it was, but for me, Bloodborne was inferior to all the "Souls" games. I know that I am in the minority though.
If I honestly believed remasters were keeping newer games from being released, I would have a problem with it. TBH though, I would be perfectly content if they would just make Ni No Kuni, Valkyria Chronicles, Dragon's Dogma, Disgaea and Demon Souls available for PSNow.
Battlestar Galactica, Lost, Fringe, X-Files, Firefly, Breaking Bad...okay, so really that is just a list of shows I kinda miss. It will probably be Doctor Who.
I can only assume that you haven't actually played the game, and that you've just read reviews. I play on PS4 and I have friends playing both on PC and Xbox, and we were just today discussing how none of us have really encountered any major bugs or glitches, the frame rate dips happen, but they really are pretty unobtrusive. I'm sure there are issues, but to call it a buggy mess...that's a pretty big stretch. It's by far Bethesda's best effort at launch date in regard ...
