As a shot in the dark...I would really appreciate a code if possible. PM me? or my PSN ID is VannGogh
I don't have any real life friends that play persona or disgaea. I would at least like some PSN friends that will be playing. To anyone that feels like it, add me, PSN ID: VannGogh
As much as I would rather this be a video for Torchlight 3 and the announcement that it is coming to PS4...well they did make Torchlight 2, so this gets my attention and cautious optimism.
Maybe...who cares? A new Fallout, Disgaea, Persona, Battlefront, Halo, Rainbow Six and Metal Gear Solid in a 4 month span? That is one of the most insane video game seasons in recent memory. If you just glanced right over Disgaea and Persona because you consider them lesser or niche games, you are seriously missing out IMHO.
Looks a lot like Helldivers. Which isn't a bad thing. This is one is F2P, right?
Armello. I'd probably buy Grown Home on sale, but I really don't need another game like Zombie Vikings.
Galak-z is incredible. Yet another amazing game that all of my friends will ignore/won't have access to. I really need new PS4 friends...
All the games on this list are great, but not seeing Gravity Rush, Binding of Isaac, Freedom Wars, Rogue Legacy, Hotline Miami and Disgaea 4 bugs me a little. Personally I would probably swap out Guacamelee, FF-X and Sound Shapes (all great games) for one my aforementioned, but I love the inclusion of Velocity 2x, No Escape, and Danganrompa.
I just wanted to say that it is nice to know I'm not the only one who can't wait for Persona 5. I don't think I know anyone right now that even knows what Persona is. And most of my friends are "hardcore" gamers. Being a Sony fan can feel lonely sometimes.
I guess I need to find out more about Grow home, but I have really high hopes for Armello. The steam reviews for it are great and I would love to see more games like it. I still really wish they would get something like Hearthstone/Infinity Wars on PS4. I'd also like the people complaining about indie/downloadables would just sell their Playstations and go get Xbox's already. If you don't like them, don't play them. You can buy Infamous, Knack, Killzone and Metro, etc for like...
I'm very happy they split, but I still dream of a day where Nintendo will stop making consoles and bring Mario, Zelda, Fire Emblem, StarFox and Metroid to the other consoles. They have some great IP's, but there just aren't enough of them to justify buying a Nintendo system.
Beat the Witcher 3 the other day so I keep bouncing back between Rocket League, Bloodborne, Helldivers, Driveclub, Resogun, Mortal Kombat X, the Last of Us, and Skulls of the Shogun. I guess that a lot of people would see that as a lackluster list of games, but I love all of them dearly. The point is, that's my backlog right now. This is the first real lull in game releases since October, and there are so many absurdly awesome looking games coming this year still. Who cares how many games...
The biggest problem with the game is trying to convince my friends to try it out. To be fair, before Supersonic Rocket-Powered Battle cars...or whatever it was called, I never would have thought that I would be into this either. Probably the best multiplayer game I have played this year. It was a great decision to make this a free game, because once you try it, you are likely to be hooked; and I really want there to be a long living online community for this game.
It stopped mattering the moment Fallout 4 was announced. That said...Persona, Disgaea, and No Man's Sky alone are far more interesting to me than the Halo/Tomb Raider/Forza combo. I get that Xbox fans are never going to believe that, but that is why I got a PS4 and they got an Xbox. Obviously Halo and Tomb Raider will slaughter those games in sales. It's not like any PS4 fans anywhere going to be without something to play. Both systems are doing exactly what their diehard fans expect,...
I know that people are going to complain (like always) about this months free games. But the Rocket League beta was great. I was definitely going to buy it day one, so I am pretty happy to get it for free. I will definitely play Geometry Wars on vita. The newest one (on PS4) might be the most difficult twin stick shooter of this generation so far though. I thought that my Resogun/Stardust mastery would translate to me doing well at GeoWars. I was wrong.
It's become increasingly obvious to me recently that this is entirely subjective. I like Halo, but could live without it, however, I'm quite jealous of State of Decay and Sunset Overdrive...but I don't know anyone with an Xbox that cares about these games. I honestly think that if my Xbox friends had a PS4 they wouldn't care about the games that make me love Sony. And I have virtually zero interest in 90% of Xbox exclusives, past, present or future. Also...I'm very late to...
Played the Plus edition for like 20 minutes and bought it. I had zero interest in the game and just wanted to check out the weather effects. I am completely addicted to this game now. I never would have tried it with out the free edition. I was a little upset about the cost of the 20 paid DLC packs, until I realized how much game there actually was for the $25 spent. Also, the weather effects are amazing.
Obviously the Xbox model is better...assuming they continue to add more compatible games. But I'm not really that offended by paying $5 to $8 to rent a game for 30 days, i was doing that for years (before gamefly) anyway, and only for 2 to 5 days. A month is plenty of time to finish most games. I'm not concerned about paying for a game I already own(ed), because, frankly why would I even want to go back and play something I already played when there are a lot of really great games I h...
So...in regards to the article; Dark Souls with Sci-Fi elements? I would be very interested in seeing what that looks like. Actually I really like that sound of that. It certainly isn't necessary but...yes, let's do that, just once.
It's early, but I would love to see more Ni No Kuni. Others would be Manhunt, Burnout, System Shock, Jak and Daxter, and Eternal Darkness. I would have been way more into a Space Quest reboot than King's Quest. How about a new Tactics Ogre or Final Fantasy Tactics or something in that vein. Also most of the games mentioned by previous commenters.
