I do agree that single player is better. I also agree that 60 bucks is a lot to pay for a game so getting more value for the money is a plus. As long as the campaign doesn't suffer, I think it's cool. First off, Bioshock multiplayer could be awesome, I remember wondering what that would be like throughout the first one. Also, I am pumped about Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank going online...especially Ratchet...I've always liked third person better than first.
Uncharted is one of my top five favorite games ever made. It's the only game I have actually played through completely more than twice. It's funny, to me Uncharted...until GOW3 hits, is THE best reason to get a PS3, but I still know several ps3 owners who have not even heard of this game, let alone played it.
I'm glad to hear there is a lot of variety in the environments in Among Thieves. That was my one concern.

that sucks! Red Dead Redemption was one of my most anticipated games of the year. It was one of less 5 multi-plat games i was looking forward to. Oh well, could be worse.
yeah, its my 360 that hasn't been plugged in for months. Been loving the PS3.
I love Ratchet & Clank. Over the years I think they have come up with some of the greatest weapons and gadgets ever in games. I'm thrilled that multi-player is coming back. And trophies...I'm still a little irked that they never patched trophies into FTOD.
i really hope prototype is good. IF so, I want both. Why choose?
on the video preview that was on gttv, the guy they were talking to about the game said that it was finished lately, that they were still working on a few characters, and then the interviewer actually said heavy rain will be coming out next year.
This sucks. But the game looks astounding. I can't wait.
the only upsetting part is the end, where geoff says "heavy rain will be coming to the PS3 next year." I know it's greedy but I really was hoping this would in the 4-5 months. Oh well, it's not like there are plenty of other great looking games coming out for ps3 this year

Agreed that is the dumbest thing I've heard all day...anyway, we know inFamous is awesome, I really hope prototype is just as good. They seem to have just enough difference between them to merit the purchase of both of these games
that's all good and fine...now if only they could release a good exclusive game, we'd be all set. PS3 is murdering xbox in that department...even the wii has more good exclusives than 360
It's so great to see the PS3 becoming greater than I could have imagined.
I think Microsoft will have something big, but I can't think of anything they could possibly do to convince me that I shouldn't sell my 360. XBOX will continue to beat PS3 in sales (unless there is a PS3 price cut), because the majority of people who purchase video game systems are not all that interested in video games, they just want to play halo, c.o.d., and madden. All their friends already have a 360 and their cheaper so...
That said, PS3 in 2009 -holy sh#t. This is the best lineup...
nevermind...most people just want to play halo, madden, and call of duty and would never actually take the time to try something like Heavy Rain, a new team ICO game, Littlebigplanet, Flower, PixelJunk anything, Afrika or even Uncharted, MGS or Bioshock. This is the actual reason that the PS3 is behind in America. It's frustrating but oh well. Meanwhile, I am enjoying what I consider to be the most enjoyable video game system ever created.
I know it won't happen but I'm really hoping they will show it at E3, then surprise us with like a July/August release. I keep hoping to get this, God of War, Ratchet, MAG, Uncharted2 and White Knight Chronicles all this year. Everybody thinks it's too much, but if sony flooded the market with all these releases (and actually marketed them) they could really capture people's attention
this looks astounding. I can't remember being this floored by a video game preview since the very first showing of Heavy Rain and the (now infamous) Killzone 2 video.
Drakes Fortune is in my top 5 favorite games ever, and I am sure that I will love the sequel, but I have one concern. I miss the jungles from the first game. I just hope that there will be a lot more environments than the one shown in this video.
So yeah, at least until I see some more God of War foot...

Also, the new team Ico game...even though there isn't much info on it yet, has been garnering quite a lot of attention.
big mgs fan, big sony fan. Yet some how I don't care that much. You had to know this was coming. Without having seen Sony's conference yet, Sony has already won with the games they've already announced.
It's good to see xbox showing some signs of life. It's been like a year since they've done anything remotely interesting. Crackdown and Left4Dead sequels are interesting and the motion controls actually seem cool.
Can't wait to see what Sony is showing tomorrow
