The hordes were pretty impressive and all of my Xbox friends seemed pretty interested in this game. I am sure I will play it, but immediately near the bottom of ps exclusives I'm interested in. I think it will be a good game, I loved The Last of Us, State of Decay, Dying Light, etc...but that is kinda the problem too, it didn't really seem to bring anything new to a very crowded genre with a lot of really good games. That said I feel bad for the devs if nobody was showing up to see mo...
Enough with the articles trying to shame people for being skeptical of a franchise that has been sub par for more than a half decade. The trailer was amazing (one of the best of the show) and I can't wait to play it. A good game is a good game, I don't care what the title is. That said, I thought the same thing about 2 out of the last 3 COD's and they ended up being pretty horrible (I actually quite liked the one with Kevin Spacey). Some moron tried to tell me I wasn't a "...
That is the stupidest thing I've heard in awhile. Call of Duty has been disappointing millions of real gamers for years now. This one looks great, I hope it will be.
This looked amazing. I almost felt betrayed to see that it was call of duty when the trailer ended. Knowing that that it is now though, I know not to get too excited; they've tricked me plenty of times before. But wow. I will be renting to try out the campaign for sure. I really thought they were saying it was VR during the show...clearly that wasn't the case though.
Not sure what Microsoft would do that they haven't done. I think the move over to PC is a good one on their part. They have some good games coming, and I fully intend on playing them...on PC. They've put up a decent fight. But Sony is just burying them in the exclusive (and console exclusive) department. Xbox could continue to embrace the PC market, by making the One, Scorpio, or both run Steam. That could be cool.
If the rumors of Xbox releasing a new console with...
They literally said that the game would be out in 2015 in NA, then they literally said it would be out in 2016 in NA. They said Horizon would be out in 2016, I assume I don't have to mention No Mans Sky (yes I know it's only console exclusive).
******** seriously!? These PS4 exclusive delays are getting ridiculous.
With the No Man's Sky delay, now would be a perfect time to release ED on PS4. Just sayin'.
No Man's Sky, Dreams and Elite Dangerous...if they can give me those on PSVR in the first year...it's a deal. But so far, I really want to be excited about, but I've yet to see anything that makes it a must have, in fact, as much as I hate to admit it, up until this point, it's almost as if they are trying to talk me out of buying one. I LOVE the Vita though...
I wish there was a difficulty setting on the demo, because it's absurdly easy, but I will definitely be getting this at some point. It's pretty great. I know now both Grand Kingdom and Odin Sphere will be among my favorite PS console exclusives of the year.
I know that these kinds of games are never going to compete with Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Sucker Punch and Guerilla, but games like these, along with stuff like Persona, Disgaea, Ni No Kuni, Valkyria Chronicles a...
Freaking out about 1 super low or high score for a game is pretty absurd, but I usually find scores to be pretty spot on with my opinions of games. If I were to pull up PS4 all-time scores right now I would find nearly all of my favorite games of this gen near the top. There are some instances where I disagree; Driveclub, Soma and Order 1886 were way better than their scores. Shadow of Mordor and The Division were pretty terrible but received great reviews. In short, I disagree. Scores in gen...
I pre-ordered No Man's Sky today. I never preorder games this far ahead of release. I'm still not sure how many hours I will enjoy the game before it gets boring. I'm worried about the actual variety we will see in the game. I worry about the lack of co-op.
Here's why I pulled the trigger anyway:
1. Elite Dangerous. It's not for everyone, but I love that game. Sometimes I just find myself floating in space doing nothing, and going nowh...
No Man's Sky VR news would be nice. No Man's Sky and Dreams would guarantee me purchasing PSVR. I want a Persona 5 release date. Ni No Kuni 2 release window. I'd like to see Dragon Quest Builders and/or Dragon's Dogma online come to the west.
Really want to see what Sucker Punch is up to, but I have to admit I would be bummed out if it was Spiderman.
The Last of Us 2 would be cool, but I think it would be even better for Naughty Dog to m...
Agreed. It's time. Resistance 3 was my favorite in the series, but I don't think it sold very well. So I wouldn't be surprised if they tried some kind of reboot with it.
Nope. Not for me anyway. Mega Man still remains among the most infuriatingly difficult games I've ever played. Right up there with Contra. I've only beaten like 1 megaman level ever, but I've beaten every souls game.
I am not one of those people that will say that dark souls is easy though. Just there are many many more difficult games.
The Souls games are my all-time favorite games. I've beaten all of them at least once. They are hard for me...beaten about half the bosses in the series on my own, the rest I needed another person's help. I am terrible at PVP...more so in DS3 than any others for some reason. The point is I've beaten all of them, yet I am technically not good enough to have done that. Difficulty is not a barrier for Dark Souls. Disinterest or an unwillingness to learn the game is the real barrier. ...
I think I like the idea of Player created characters. Especially if they put a lot of thought and depth into it. What I want most though is for them to erase all memory of the Pre-Sequel from my brain. I still don't know why I didn't like that game. I love Borderlands, but I could not get into that one.
I don't own an Xbox this gen (don't need one, I have a gaming PC). I do think there is something special about exclusives. The level of effort and polish put into the production makes nearly every exclusive on every console worth trying. And for my tastes; Sony > Nintendo > Microsoft, it's just an opinion. That said, I think Dark Souls 3 is WAY better than Bloodborne. I loved Bloodborne, I will do another playthrough, I will buy a sequel day one. But Dark/Demon Souls continu...
Persona 5, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Cuphead, The Last Guardian, Hellblade, Recore and Nier Automata are also among my most anticipated. Good list though.
Since it doesn't appear that there will be any more news on No Mans Sky, I'd love to see release dates for Eitr, Darkest Dungeon, and Brut@l. I was really hoping to hear something about Elite Dangerous and Starbound though.
