Who is being alienated? Wasn't an amazing Gears of War just released? Didn't a new fantastic Forza just get released? Explain again how you are being "alienated"?

When resolution issues came up with the X1 all hell broke loose with PS4 owners trolling on stop. Now that the rolls will be reversed when comparing the Pro and Scorpio in regard to 4k those same trolls are saying it doesn't matter and it is the overall experience that matters most. The hypocrisy is pathetic.

True, but all current gen or remasters.... Within two years there is a good chance it will struggle outputting native 4k on almost every new game, especially AAA games... By mid gen 1080p/60 1440p/30 will be the norm for the pro. Not awful but it won't be long before it is considered a little on the "weak" side.
I saw Lawnmower man in the theaters when it first came out.....still want my money back.
Oh I get it and I am seeing those subtle differences, I'm just not seeing a huge difference between the two. Some, sure, just not huge. I'm sure when devs are designing a game with the pro's enhancements in mind those differences will be easy to see, even in still photos.
The visual fidelity was not huge from what I can tell. Higher res sure, but nothing jaw dropping. Both look good.

To play it as well as the Scorpio you will probably be spending a few hundred dollars more.
I think the PS pro's only advantage is that it will be out first. Brand loyalty in gaming doesn't go as far as it used to. For hardcore gamers it certainly does, but not for most casuals. As it usually goes these days, whichever system puts out the better version of COD or Battlefield will have the advantage. Very good chance MS will eventually take the lead with the new systems coming out.

Why? Because most of the games that come out for it will not be 4k...1080p/60fps with everything turned on high settings is what most gamers want.
I'm sure the Ps4 VR is pretty darn good...I'm pretty sure the Scorpio VR will be that much better when it comes out...and that a few years later when PS5 VR comes out it will be even beter'er.
