Well, realistically if one is roughly a third more powerful than the other it potentially may hold the other back at the very least with third party games.
720p to1080p? yes, definitely some difference (still not awful in most cases though)...900p to 1080p?...not so much, at least not enough to make a big issue out of...unless they were fanboy trolls.
Of course when it is a Sony product discussing how lowered or upscaled resolution won't be "noticeable" that is fine, but say that about an MS product and there are practically fanboy riots. No double standard there.
Doesn't high Def movies run at 42fps? Not gaming of course but that seems like a fair potential minimum benchmark for 4k gaming.
Of course it exists. MS, Sony and Nintendo are constantly developing new hardware. The Scorpio isn't ready for production but to say it doesn't exist is a little short sighted. Even though the PS4pro isn't officially released yet, you better believe Sony is already thinking about and putting together builds for the PS5.
Is that all you do is troll? Anytime you show up on comment sections about the X1 or MS you troll! LOL, I called you on your childish trolling last week and what did you do? You sent a belligerent private email and then like a coward you blocked any return emails! Seriously, little boy its past your bedtime. I'm sure your mommy and daddy don't want you on the computer this late anyway!.
Admittedly I never heard of this guy, but that doesn't take away how awful the situation. I hope some take a lesson away with this.
For some less demanding games it shouldn't be a problem at all, but for higher end games? Probably not. Not at 60fps at least.
Why not 2k/60fps? Gotta say, 1080p/constant 60fps on the Scorpio with lighting, high res textures, effects and AA turned up to max will look amazing!
...must get portable PS white...
Didn't Titanfall use cloud computing?
Whatever little fanboy troll...whatever
@ Red_Renegade.... You forget that the 360 sold more software than both the Wii and Ps3.
waiting for what? Both Dx12 and the cloud have already made differences. l...o...l Go back to bed little troll.
That may be true but the average consumer looking for a 4k blu ray this Christmas wont care about that. The fact the X1s also plays all X1 and hundreds of 360 games doesn't hurt.
For one thing, The 4k player in the slim is a very good one. On top of that you get the gaming library, including the bc for 360 games that adds up to a hell of a bang for the buck, especially for those who haven't upgraded yet since last gen. MS is finally nailing it. Took long enough.
LOL, then buy a freaking gaming PC, moron....Why bother to waste your time and everyone else's trolling. This is a comment section for the X1s. Tens of millions enjoy the price point and convenience of console gaming, duh! Time to get off that high horse and go back to the rock you live under like a good little 14 yer old troll.
Sorry bitter Sony fanboys, the fact of the matter is that 4k bluray is going to help sell the system in a big way.... Actually I am not sorry for that. Deal with it trolls!
Skillz, Sony also is now saying native 4k isn't that big of a deal with upscalling being just fine and that power doesn't matter as much as games. Both are always going to play to whatever strength it has at the moment.
I do agree..."if" they already have one, but to be fair it is quite a bit more powerful.
