I stopped buying COD and Battlefield a long time ago as I don't play online MP games. Campaigns for those series have always been not worth it if you don't play the MP. MP is the focus and it shows, a 3 to 4 hour campaign is WAY too short for the money you spend. I skipped TF2 for the same reason. Honestly if they are going to do MP as a primary and SP as an afterthought, they may as well leave out the SP and add more MP maps.

Also add better effects and framerate in 1080p mode. Sure downsampling looks decent, like good AA, but it is a waste of resources that could be better used on other things at 1080p.
All of this 4K this and 4K that, a bump in res from 1080p is not as noticeable as other things.

Too many games bunched up at one time. Not everyone has unlimited money to buy or unlimited time to play them all.
Me, I started waiting a few months to buy as most games are so broken at launch there is no incentive to buy. Some I have even waited until the GOTY edition because then you finally get the working and complete version.
The "pro crowd" wouldn't buy the Pro if they didn't think it was worth it... It is not like they don't know what to expect by now.
You don't need a 4K TV to see the difference. I use my Pro on a Sony Bravia TV that is only 1080p . I used the Tomb Raider game to change settings to test them. When I set game option to 4K the image is much sharper. Bits of branches and fine detail that would res-out and disappear in the distance on the 1080p setting get filled in on the 4K setting. Would rather have native 1080p 60 FPS with better lighting, draw distance, AO, field of view, particles etc. To me higher res than 1080p is a waste of resources that could be put to better use. You would notice better graphical fidelity than slightly smoother edges.

There actually is a reason for what you say. The larger the pixels (lower PPI) the more you can actually tell the difference easier. With an average sized 1080p TV from an average distance you can see the difference between 900p and 1080p pretty easily because the pixels are larger and easier for the eye to see. You see the shimmering and aliasing difference well.
As the PPI increases and the pixels get smaller it is harder to see. When they eve...
I liked the first one too. It had some issues and the graphical downgrade was a bit disappointing but I don't think it deserved the amount of hate it got. Running at only 900p on PS4 was a bummer but this one should be better on the Pro now I hope.
Hopefully they do and add back in all of the normal maps and effects they patched out of the PS4 version.
That is because Skyrim is still rendering at 4K even on a 1080p display then downsampled which is a waste.
It seems all of the features need to be patched in, even for new releases such as Tomb Raider etc. I don't know why they can't just put them on the disc. Having to patch everything is rather annoying if you don't have a super fast internet connection, and if you don't have one you are screwed completely.

That is not a true full SSD, it is a hybrid. A full SSD will blow it away in performance. Something like a Samsung 850 Pro would smoke it.
BB needs to get rid of that awful overdone chromatic aberration that blurs out all graphics not in the center of the screen, that gave me a headache (as well as making it ugly and low res looking).

Which has been the main problem with these MP focused series, the SP campaigns are way too short. That is why I don't bother with them anymore. I suppose I could rent them and blast through their tiny campaigns in a night.
I did like the new Doom and Wolfenstein though, the campaigns were definetly long enough to be worthwile.
